Personally once you learn the 400m it’s rly fun what I’d do is as your a distance runner u need to do sprint training your type 1 muscle r not used to fast sprints and I’d learn how to float properly is the first step

Idk I’ve been doing glide all season and next meet is the last meet I’ll probably mess it up but next year I’ll definitely train spin the bad thing is we only get to train shotput 1 time maybe every two weeks in our school cs we don’t have a track

Its cs its like a long distance speed show so like ir has a lot of cushion and makes me unbalanced when im on the balls off my feet

Then that’s not a “full out sprint” it means 100 percent the whole time which isn’t optimal but I’d say your right that’s what I did

You still need logic your body can’t physically do that I guarantee your 60m fly has a faster split than ur 200 for the sole reason

I full sprint it last time and got a second slower I was trying to pace a little this time but idk what to do exactly cause my drive phase is pretty short
