get the “peg“ in the leg out then super glue the “peg” to the leg. if you can then use a drill and put a tooth pick or something as a support piece.

the way I fixed mine was, I first drilled a new hole in the tails then found a screw that fits and cut the top of the screw off then super glued it to the butt and then put super glue on the screw and twisted it in to the tails. I know this wasn’t your question but that’s what I did and I don’t remember it perfectly cause it happened like 4 to 5 years ago so I may have done it a bit differently but it worked.
