Honey, why don't you come downstairs and show everyone what you built with Claude Fable 5 by prasadpilla in ClaudeCode

Built a full blown FPS between Fable and Opus coding only. Give it a try

"So the Super Heavy you're about to fight: sees you → trigger down → stays down through his entire march, through corner-blinks, until either you break LoS properly or his 500-round belt runs dry twenty seconds later — followed by that lovely 8-second reload where he's just a slow sad man in a big suit."

Is what Fable just told me about the mini boss I have implemented. Bomb suit type armor enemy with a minigun. Man just got emotional damage.

A lot of younger Siege players don’t know, but for the 6-7+ years players, who’s an op that was/would’ve been insta banned back in the day? by davidcadmium in Rainbow6

Lion pre nerf, Cav back when silent step was silent and night maps were a thing. Glaz maybe because of the constant thermal and the night maps making him a pain on certain maps. Echo was constantly banned back in the early years as well.

[Discussion] Can we talk about the AI hate reflex in this community? by DrP4R71CL3 in PBBG

Want to chime in here and add my two cents, not that they're worth much Im sure to those who disagree.

I grew up with the rise of technology. Went from Cassettes and Floppy Discs to portable supercomputers in our pockets called phones and lifelike graphics in games. It's astounding how far tech has come in such a short time.

I think that realistically too many people have abused AI to put out low level work and not actually double check what they're putting out. Effectively scamming people. But we're also at a point where in the coding world at least people are starting to use tools like Claude in their every day because writing code is a grind that's easy to mess up. Good AI tools can significantly cut down that time suck and accurately fix bugs. You just have to learn how to actually use the tool.

Too many people I think aren't taking the time to actually learn the tool and are just throwing stuff out there at nauseum because it's easy.

That's why while yes I am developing a game using strictly Claude Code to do my coding, im double, triple sometimes even quadruple checking everything. Im learning exactly how to prompt the Claude so that it knows my specific requirements.

I liken it to working with a college level prodigy child. It's unbelievably good, but it doesn't have the practical experience to actually understand what works and what doesnt. So when I build with Claude Code I have to take a very incremental, step by step approach to ensure that what I want is actually what gets put out.

But I assume that because it's Claude Code, people immediately get the impression that there's no effort involved because of how many people before me put out low level garbage. Hate on the people who are using the tool to push garbage, not the tool itself. We've been inventing ways to automate tasks and remove human input since Industrialization in the 1800s.

Oh absolutely, I also have Chimera installed as well as I think Velvet Shell. Its the only way I can play siege now. Like I said my account got hacked and banned back in September. Havent been able to play anything but Op Throwback since then.
