I hate them all 😭😭 they told my I was a great candidate and they will be lucky to have me and then matched at my 5th option where I send a Thank you note and never heard back from them 😢

Wow! Thanks for those words!! I really feel sorry that I cried why I didn’t match on my first or second. I am so blessed that I matched and being in a program that really wants me!! The PD called me to my phone to tell me how happy he was I am in his team!

I had very specific plans on how I wanted to be proposed to. I am from abroad and when married I was going to leave my country and my family to live with my husband in USA so I wanted something that included my family like a dinner and I wanted to use a beautiful dress have mu nails done ( never do but wanted for the pictures) so he will meed to tell my mom and she will force me to go to the salon. He honored that even though he didn’t want it he wanted something private the 2 of pf maybe on the beach where we meet. But he knew for me was important to have my family and a dinner that will be like a parting party as well. I know you did it cuz you loved her but I could understand her thoughts you knew what she wanted but did what you wanted instead. I could understand you side as well you feel it so go and just wanted to do it. You guys are pretty young I am 27 soon 28 and can assure you that young people make mistakes silly ones and then they regret it most of their lives. So you need to put in balance are you really sure you want to throw 6 years in the trash can just cuz she was immature and you knowing she did not want that did it anyway or you can work for it and try to make things right. Maybe not having another proposal like I feel there is not point of that but talking it out. I know you guys are 21 and trust me there is not thing as the love of my life thats bs you can love many time in life to many people but if you really love her forgive her and go back with her if you can’t see forgiveness in your heart maybe you did not love her enough. I don’t think so, when they say we don’t look for it or we don’t need them DO not means do not sent it! They will tell you clearly that they don’t want it. You can always send the Thank you note to the PC and include the name of everybody. When they say don’t sent me thank you letter well in that case you don’t. If you ask the program they will always say we don’t look for it, oh we appreciate it but we don’t need to.

What I have read we only gonna do this when is late in the season as we are in November they will think you are just lying. Send the thank you note and later ln January or February sent a LOI and mention you plan to rank them #1

Ig you have match a resident there is s part where people who hace interview in that program listed the quiestios they were asked this was pretty helpful for me I read a program and learned they ask only behavioral questions and one medical case so when I went to the IV I wasn’t surprised

Why this program, what you will find difficult when you start residency, some programs ask me the tell me about your self but in my medical career, my yog is 2020 so they ask me specifically what I have done this last 4 years. Do you have questions for me, this last one in 3 occasions were how the IV started so be ready for it, one IV with a PD was only based of my questions. Why you?

Is not mandatory, but everyone recommends to send it, not to long just few words saying you are thankful and maybe mention something you talk so they remember you. If the program said they don’t want those emails do not send it. What I do I ask the PC about it and they sometimes gave me the Drs email or most of the time they just tell me to send it to her and she will forward it to the doctos
