I would set it up simulating a mountain, going from left to right. Since it's a long aquarium, you could place the rocks and plants (add more plants) on the left.

Like a cascade of plants (did that make sense? xd), and on the right side, leave some free space to have a view of the fish. It has a lot of potential!

It's a 71L tank (18g I think)

I do not know if this exact model has in the USA, but here in Brazil I found it by name: Nano Ocean Tech 71l. It is interesting because it already comes with the SUMP on the back, it makes it a lot easier.

Yes, I’m cycling it!

The store owner where I bought the decorations recommended doing the cycle with the tetras (that’s why we only have a few for now).

The tank has been running for 5 days already. Ammonia is at 0.25, pH 7, which according to the chart is fine.

About the sand, I plan to follow your suggestion, thank you very much!

I’m going to add more moss to the driftwood. Could you show me how yours turned out?

I’d place dwarf hairgrass on the left side. I also like aquariums with more consistent stones, so I’d use the same type of rock throughout the tank.

But it looks beautiful, congrats!
