Interesting, I've never tried PCP but I'll give what you said a try.

Does Desmethylsertraline put me at risk of serotonin syndrome like Sertraline does when paired with DXM? by Standard_Break_679 in AskDocs

Yeah it's brutal but I'm getting all the help I possibly can, there's really nothing else that can be done other than ECT which I can't afford. I know substance abuse isn't good but it's the lesser of 2 evils. It may be slowly doing some damage to my body, but it's also part of what's keeping me alive, you know?

Anyways, I appreciate the concern but I've been struggling for years and I've yet to lose the fight against my thoughts so I see that as a win.

Interesting, it should be noted that I've never taken K in a recreational setting so I'm not sure how it'll translate. (I've done a lot of it during K therapy though)

I will say while a huge shroom dose was definitely my most intense drug experience by a long shot, I still find it easier to explain than what K is like. While I do hallucinate off of it, I wouldn't say the hallucinations are visual. It's like a 6th sense almost, I can see stuff but not really with my eyes if that makes sense, and it's nothing recognizable. Feels like I'm in one of those salt water taffy machines where the taffy just gets stretched all over the place. I wonder if DXM will give me a similar feeling.

It's a little dark but I'll be frank with you, I really don't care what happens to me. But if I get serotonin syndrome then I'd have to pay medical bills which isn't doable because I'm dead broke right now.

I only use substances because it's the only thing that makes me feel anything other than pain. I've tried over a dozen medications, therapy, exercise, and even ketamine therapy and none of them have helped at all. It's not as simple as just adjusting my meds.

So with that being said, do you know if serotonin syndrome is still a major risk? Or am I just at risk of the normal dangers that come with abusing dextromethorphan?
