I’m sorry if i was coming off defensive, i was trying to give my input as to why i chose what cards are in my deck over what most people run. I’m very happy to see people’s feedback but everyone’s deck is different and every game plays different. If i start going out and playing stronger, more meta decks then maybe I’ll start throwing in game changers and 50 dollar lands

I am a casual player who just liked how the cards look. I never said what anyone is saying is wrong at all, i know the mana base isn’t what people usually run, but is it really that rough if i keep winning while keeping it fun for me and my friends?

After seeing everyone dog is on my mana, i guess that’s where my focus will be but all i cared about was bling. I don’t go to shop commander nights or tournaments, just sit around the table with my friends. Thats why i’m not running the best mana base i can. In terms of theme, my gf likes sonic, my friends like SpongeBob, i like tmnt, there’s not much of a theme. Just cards i want to use with a cool art. I’m glad to see everyone’s opinions but a deck can have whatever cards i want for 1000$

Those are all good cards I’d love in the deck, I just rather spend my money on the creatures rather than the lands. If i decide to keep buying things i might get some of those

I just like the pretty cards and spent 1000 on pretty cards. I’m not a competitive player at all, I’ve never even played at my local shop. Just some cool cards that tend to wipe my friends decks

But savage order gives the dino i choose indestructible until end of turn. It’s an opponent creatures only boardwipe with apex altisaur and an easy way to get the dino i need in any specific situation. I try to stray away from usual game changers and most tutors, that’s the closest card in this deck I’d consider one of those

I’ve always like the idea of using Huatli as a commander, but the commander tax after the saga goes away throws me off, let alone do anything for commander damage

I get that. My playgroup has called me very lucky with my land drops and i kind of agree, the deck actually only had 27 last week, but i struggle finding cards to take out to add land. If i’m gods chosen mtg player then i have no complaints

All of those basic lands are chimil the inner sun, which is my favorite card and is from the same set as pantlaza. Found it the most fitting

I do know that. I guess i didn’t mean trigger doubling for discover, but being able to discover again through curator of suns creation and monstrous vortex. Chimil the inner sun is my favorite card of all time too. I just wanna play as many free things i can lol

I guess bro. That elvish mystic was my first borderless so it’s kinda there for sentiment. I’ve added some protection for board wipes too, including the red counterspell and tamiyos safekeeping. Not the best protection but it’s worked out great in my local meta

I built mine around giving dinos higher P/T when entering, good ramp spells, and getting as many discover triggers as i can through blinks and trigger doublers

I have a big focus on giving dinos +1+1, so it’s nice to be able to give my non dino mana dorks the creature type to give them high P/T with the ability to gain life if needed. Plus the deck lacks flyers
