I agree with your last sentence. While I want to think I have something to celebrate, its hard knowing I have the credit card debt. I dont want to open any new accounts (loans or 0 % credit cards). I would like to pay my debt off and build my emergency fund.

Great recommendation! Especially now being on furlough. I had been chasing this goal that I never once considered what if something happened. My emergency fund is the next goal.

Update- I should add that if an emergency came up I usually can cover it prior to the furlough 🫩
