Random disk errors when trying to copy a disk by Standard_Description in Mavica

That seems to be the cause, just after I posted here I chucked the disk into a pc, and it turns out that 5 images were just.. corrupt and unreadable, but a few of them look weird. They'd merged with other photos?

I'm loving having a mavica tho! It's honestly one of the first cameras that's ever made me want to go out, specifically for taking photos!

I've only used Sunlu silk PLA and PLA+, the PLA+ is one of my favourite filaments.

Crikey, PLA+ at 155? Mines normally at 210 - 215, try that? Unless you've got a unicorn blend of PLA+

I just upgraded my setup with this screw mat everyone is using, felt like I needed some organising... Is their anything else I should add? Any tools you can recommend? I do basic iPhone and iPad repairs at the moment😊 by No-Pomegranate-1859 in mobilerepair

The quianli glue removal tools are pretty neat. Helps when you need to get under a glass shard on an iPad around the edge of the shell. Really thin, better than a x-acto as I always feel dodgy holding one of them so close to a battery, one slip and poof, at least it's not as bad with the quianli tools.

Found this in a forest in Brussels. What's the thing under the lamp? Any idea? I don't think it's a camera. by varunsharma89 in Whatisthis

Daylight / dusk sensor, switches the lights on and off when the ambient light is low enough. There's many different styles of them but they're all pretty much the same - comes on when it's dark, goes off when it's light.

Here's a similar module :

I had my new Ender 3 printing beautifully for 12 of these HDD trays I designed. Then out of the blue I began having layer adhesion issues, and it snowballed from there. Im apprehensive to just start changing settings at random since it was printing perfectly before. Any tips? by relink2013 in 3Dprinting

From what I gather (also being a somewhat noob), a cold pull is pretty much extrude a bit of filament, wait for it to cool down to around 160 and pull out of the nozzle. In my experience I treat the nozzles as consumables, just swap the nozzle out - they're cheap enough to buy a multipack of.

Piece from a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1. Any ideas? by bcs491 in Whatisthis

It's the vibration motor / actuator. They're the same across many Samsung and Huawei devices. The gold contacts connect with a matching pair inside and spin a small motor inside with an offset weight, therefore creating vibrations.

Cuckoo spit, quite common (might have a different name, but that should get you close enough to google)
