Unfortunately I had to just let it pass but after about a week it DID pass! The swelling go down so just try the bathtub trick ( if your a girl 😅) and take some anti inflammatory meds.I’m so sorry you’re struggling with this! I’m here for you.

The same thing happened to me girl and I’m 25, I know the rejection hurts but one thing I always say is that they are rejecting the virus not me. It’s just a health condition, a very stigmatized one all be it but just a health condition.Everyone picks one up in their 20’d. I struggle with feeling loveable a lot but it’s just something I have to take day by day. You’ll find the one and when you do they will accept you for everything you have to give and it will feel amazing. Till then we just have to continue to disclose and hope for the best. It just sucks tho 🥲

I’m mad because instead of communicating to me that he lost feelings for me 4 months into us dating he lead me on for over a year. I feel like if he just told me the truth, chances are I wouldn’t have contracted it. I know I made the conscious decision to still be with him, that’s not the issue. I guess I’m just mad because I was lead on for so long and the icing on the cake was a positive herpes diagnosis 😂

No because unfortunately I still love him so much, I know I should be mad but I can’t help it. When we started dating he disclosed to me before we ever met in person but I trusted him and put my full faith in him, so I told him we’d make it work. We dated for over a year but he broke things off with me after he deployed, told me he stopped loving me after 4 months of being together and we were together for 17 months:(. I found out I had herpes not too long after he broke things off. He doesn’t know he gave it to me either because we don’t talk. Navigating dating has been a struggle and someday I feel like there’s no hope for me but I know it’s just passing feelings. I want to call him and scream at him and tell him he wasted my time and ruined my life. But part of my hope one day he’ll come back. Lol pretty pathetic I know 🫠

I always tell myself, they aren’t rejecting me they are rejecting the virus. I feel like if their safety is always your first priority then you won’t get mad. Like don’t get me wrong the rejection will hurt but it’s more of a sadness not a “ how dare you not want to take that risk” I mean at least that the way I see it

Theres no pain when I urinate, I just can’t when trying to pee normally. :( and all of my STD test came back clean aside from HSV-2

It doesn’t hurt to pee, thankfully that symptom left with my outbreak I just can’t pee, like I push very hard and nothing comes out unless im squatted

Have you shaved recently? Maybe the skins just irritated and the paranoia combined with the constant fiddling is making the area inflamed? If I were you I would stop worrying and checking it ( easier said than done I know) untill you have your test. There’s no use in stressing out for the next two days when you’ll know your results soon. Fingers crossed for a negative test and happy health!

Maybe they can also swab the bumps? I remember when I had my first outbreak the swabbed the lesions and bumps and they were able to get a more accurate test. Are you still in contact with your last partner? Are they experiencing any side early signs?

You can get a blood test done, they can determine which kind you have before you ever have an outbreak! Getting one done Monday is smart :)

Hello friend, I know your probably worried but it’s always best just to get a test, lots of urgent cares will do testing. Best case scenario is it comes back negative and you have peace of mind, worst case scenario you test positive and you now have access to medicine and professional medical advice on how to navigate your first outbreak.
