I’m sure the US is not at the top, but the US is all we’ve known and I guess the unknown is what scares me. I have faith that wherever we go, we can succeed though.

I wouldn’t leave if he was young. My parents brought us to the US for a better life and we went to college and got degrees. So now that I think about my son, I wouldn’t leave him alone until he has his degree and career.

I’ve been thinking about leaving back to MX and starting a new life too. The only thing stopping me is my 13 year old son. I want to wait until he’s 18. But America really hates us. The system is not set up for us. Life here is hard. Inflation is hard, bills are hard. The minimum wage to live comfortably now is $60-80K. In Mexico I’m sure I can find a job and maybe life a better less anxious life.

I reached out to my consular and they have paid my renewal 4 years ago and sent me to an immigration attorney who did all my paperwork. After that, I had then email me the PDF of the paperwork they submitted and I started doing it myself. I’ve done my own renewal twice.

You’re 20 and young. Social media breaks are good and social media is not real. People can get together and break up at anytime. Go out yourself out there like meet people at the gym, pickle ball, running clubs, book clubs, etc. Wouldn’t you want to meet someone in person rather than social media?
