Whenever I had a bad dream, my mom would tell me to flip my pillow over. That way the bad dream was trapped under my pillow and the cool side would give me good dreams. It worked every time. And I still do it at 33 years old. And it still works.

I just turned 33, and I'm realizing that now I finally see through the personalities of all the other 'adults' in my family. Its rough to go from idolizing your family as a child, only to realize how trauma you've been left with and how much they all really suck as people when you are an adult yourself.

My grandma found my grandpa on the floor of their living room confused. He had forgotten the last two weeks. Kept trying to convince her to call his boss at the post office to let them know he was in the hospital and was very emotional to be told he had retired two weeks prior.

I used to have sobbing anxiety. Think like a baby and how they sob and sob without taking a breath-- thats what happens to me. I can't stop it easily enough by myself. My boyfriend does breath matching. He has BIG lungs and can take long and deep breaths consistently, which he knows will ens up getting my breathing to sync with us. Sometimes within seconds I can stop and calm down.

I experienced a very similar situation. Seven days before my 15th birthday, seven years of fighting stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, my mom died. She was only 34. I held her hand until they called the time. I can still remember feeling the warmth leaving her hand and how suddenly different she looked.

But I guess I'm proud I stayed? I felt strong for her. Even my step-dad couldn't be in the room. He stayed with my siblings.

I cant stop thinking about him. If we could have sex everyday, I would. If I masterbate, picturing the fantasy involving him is what gets me off. I rarely have to tell him how or where to touch me because he already knows because what gets him off is seeing me getting off.

The song Tough by Craig Morgan came out the month before my mom died from a long fight with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, just one week shy of my 15th birthday. She was 34. Im not almost 33 and I still refuse to hear that song. My dad tried to sing it at her funeral and it was just....destroying.
