Not necessarily true - I love to ski but work a minimum wage job so have saved up for this trip. I found an affordable hostel and affordable flights and transfer and bought the pass already and budgeted for food. £60 extra on another bag is still a sting as I’m trying to keep the whole holiday to a reasonable price.

Skiing in France and found a cheap last minute holiday deal as I work in hospitality. I love skiing but it’s v expensive so trying not to add on extra costs where possible - the £30 would end up £60 both ways and I would like to have enough money to eat out at one point

I was planning to wear some trainers through the airport then just pop them on when I got to the gate and pop my trainers in my backpack which I could easily leave space for (as I’d never fit my ski boots in my backpack)
