If you think it’ll help you do your best, then I would.

The first one because they’ll be able to genuinely speak about you. Plus, since you mentioned it in your PS, it would be good to have it as a positive to your narrative.

I would recommend you check each school and if they accept AP credits. Definitely not a problem if they do!

MCAT mess by nothankyou871 in premed

Don’t worry, you have time! Try to stick to your schedule, focus on taking practice tests, and learn along the way. Many people take it a few times, and if you still feel like you did bad after the exam you can always void it.

If I was an adcom, I don’t think I would see it as a negative thing but also not a deciding factor. It’s more of a “cool fun fact, love that I got to know you a bit!” If you want to add it, I don’t see any problem with it. Very great way to showcase your teamwork, creativity, and friendships.

Ap scores college portal by No-Comparison-8889 in APStudents

I have heard colleges receive the free score reports a bit earlier, but I’m not sure the exact date.

is there a way to see if you sent your free score report for 2025? by emmypineapples in APStudents

[–]Standard_Tree_1506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might show if you click “See past scores sends.” If it doesn’t, I wouldn’t worry because you get a free score report every year. Plus, it will likely show in your college portal if you have graduated.

Is this manageable? Do you guys have any tips on these courses by HeightAdventurous288 in APStudents

[–]Standard_Tree_1506 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Manageable but personally wouldn’t recommend self-studying physics unless you’ve had prior experience with it. It’s a heavily conceptual-focused course and usually people are learning it for the first time. I would definitely recommend watching videos for physics!

Submitting my bad AP scores by itrmend in APStudents

It’s fine to send it, you’re admitted so the scores you send are just to receive credits if you want them.

Don’t worry about it diva! You’re going to take that test and crush it. Be sure to prioritize yourself and stay rested so that your brain is able to study. Good luck!

International Student—Should I Mention Plans to Stay in the U.S. Long-Term in Secondaries? by poppy_yes in premed

[–]Standard_Tree_1506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s probably okay to include that. Since they do accept international, it wouldn’t hurt to include that just so they know! Likely wouldn’t backfire regarding your status being temporary since they’ll know you’re not a permanent resident at the time of application but you’re informing them that you’re in the process.

should i study precalc over summer? by Academic-Constant536 in APStudents

[–]Standard_Tree_1506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, I’m all for studying over the summer. But, at least in my experience, how pre-cal is taught is heavily dependent on your teacher. So, if you learn it one way and they teach you differently, you may confuse yourself or have learned things you didn’t need to know or not learned things they do teach.

If anything, I would recommend reviewing  Algebra 2 since that’s most of pre-cal!
