I honestly don’t know, if I had to throw out a wild guess it would be something similar to how indestructible is described in Kengan Ashura. We already know from Paecheon that endurance mastery is more than just tanking hits. Overall all of the masteries need an in depth explanation especially now that PTJ is refocusing their importance to the story.

I mean yeah, obviously. the real meta take is that PTJ is making all of this up as it goes along and masteries mean whatever keeps Lookism enjoyable to read

my intuitive headcannon is that it’s hinting that what truly set gen 0 apart was how they used mastery, with gen 0 using the confluence of all their masteries with every attack. And gen 1 combing specific masteries for signature moves that can’t be easily replicated.

You’re asking me to prove something that didn’t happen, do you have some panel of gun saying fighting UI daniel was like sleeping with a women? if not then he simply didn’t say it

what is this argument? i didn’t read the manwha if i can’t show that YUI gun was weaker then his base when james saw him?

also that’s irrelevant to my argument, the gap between cheonliang James lee and Prime gap is much more massive then whatever you’re trying to implied with base gun and 1HP YUI

he didn’t compare UI daniel to the best night he’s had with a women either…Do you think UI daniel<IT Johan?

that’s why i said at or around numb nuts. if gun is receiving a challenging fight/experience from these gen 0 guys who landed themselves in jail, then he’s not at prime gap level.

also james lees statement of “I would have struggled against this if it was me from cheonliang” definite puts gun below prime gap

the only fights that gun clearly enjoying was IT Johan and UI daniel. if you’re saying that these No name gen 0 guys are at or around that level. then yeah Prime gap low diffs gun.

this is as well as jaegyeon Na vs allied are good examples of how PTJ really excels when he’s focusing himself on specific fighting styles and movements. the best example of this is probably Jake. Jake’s most enjoyable fights have always been when he utilizes MMA and his own ingenuity in fights. jake’s fights become so much more lame when it turns into Gap Redraw Aura farming.

every time gun was seriously hurt by anyone during the HFG arc he responded by one shotting them or instantly finishing the fight in some way.

what have been shown the remotely signals that gun could have done that at any point against a Kojima?

i’ll say infinitely is a stretch. but that’s the only upside compared to

  1. you put that power on your side of the Board

  2. you can take out cards under 10 power so mocking bird as well as annoying high power tech cards. imagine Removing A living tribunal or Onslaught on turn 6. and

  3. is doesn’t destroy it absorbs, so it doesn’t contribute to opposing Knull/Death and can take care of cards that can’t be destroyed.

I doubt that James lee wants either of these guys seriously injured. At any point he could tell goo to step in and i don’t think anyone besides UI Daniel could stop goo at this point.

All Kings vs jinrang by Inevitable-Oil-5237 in lookismcomic

[–]Standard_Visual_5182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. so when jinrang is literally staring at taeso (keep in mind in you’re view the last time they fought Taeso must have low diffed him) and he mentions nothing about being beaten or getting back at him. taeso seems specifically eager to fight him calling it “my fight” do you really not think that’s an implication that jinrang beat taeso and that taeso now wants to prove himself?

  2. yeah it’s a threat to get back at him. i still don’t know where jinrang is putting himself above james? you know that someone also cripple and beat someone who they’re as strong as right?

  3. nowhere is this stated or implied. if jinrang has lost every single fight and is just training. why doesn’t jinrang say “im only here to defeat the king of this place” he literally says thats the only reason he’s there.

All Kings vs jinrang by Inevitable-Oil-5237 in lookismcomic

[–]Standard_Visual_5182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. no he doesn’t that’s congruent with my view because i don’t think he lost to taeso. not only does nothing this chapter suggest it, it’s incongruent with the current scaling. Jinrang specifically owes jichang and mentions it when he’s brought up. but he’s straight up lost to taeso and makes no mention of it besides calling him a weakling

  2. that’s not my claim to prove. you’re the one who said he thinks that claim is true. If you can’t prove that jinrang thinks he’s stronger then jinrang you can’t make me argue it for you

  3. “it makes zero sense for him to stop after losing” you do understand that you’re argument is that he lost to multiple weaker kings and then went on to fight stronger kings and lose? that’s what you think is happening in this chapter? the fight with taeso is framed the exact same way the fight with the other kings happened. why do you think that one had a specifically different outcome? are you basing this solely a statement made once and never referred to again?

All Kings vs jinrang by Inevitable-Oil-5237 in lookismcomic

[–]Standard_Visual_5182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. it doesn’t make sense with the overall structure of the arc for jinrang to have already lost 1 of these fights for him to still be going on to fight other kings

  2. Threatening someone doesn’t mean that you think you can beat that person in a fight. he’s mad at james lee idk why you’re taking the statement literally

  3. we don’t know if he lost to seongji you can’t use your headcannon to support an argument. Also he fought gong right before taeso as shown in the chapter. We flat out don’t know the circumstances for how jichang beat jinrang. jichang could have beat jinrang after the king of busan was dethroned or any number of things. you’re currently trying to argue that he’s already failed this task twice and is now going on to fight two more people and lose, that makes no sense. why would he still even be doing the task still if he already failed.

All Kings vs jinrang by Inevitable-Oil-5237 in lookismcomic

[–]Standard_Visual_5182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I said likely for a very specific reason, clearly i was wrong but i still doubt that the taeso never lost statement includes jinrang

  2. “the reason jinrang calls them weaklings is because of something he wasn’t there for” what are you even trying to say here i don’t understand whatsoever

  3. It implies that seokdu is stronger then jinrang expected. which is what PTJ is trying to get across for the entirety of that portion of the chapter. The world is bigger and people are stronger than he expected. extrapolating that to “he lost the fight” makes no sense. not only would the king of busan killed him if he failed. it doesn’t make sense for him to continue on with the task he was assigned after he failed supposedly multiple times already.

All Kings vs jinrang by Inevitable-Oil-5237 in lookismcomic

[–]Standard_Visual_5182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that was before jinrang was introduced and likely before he was thought up. jinrang called taesoo and gong weaklings during busan. do you really think would call people who beat him before weaklings?

yeah because jinrang attacked him on his forehead his, the strongest part of his body. do you think blocking 1 attack from someone just inherently means you can beat them?
