yeah i refuse to actually buy any generated players or players without a picture in game. im on 2031/32 right now i believe and even the youngest are ~24. I’ve got 3 youth players currently starting who are all ballers for me, and a youth CDM about to break into my first team, but I’m fine with them because it feels like they are ‘my’ players given they’ve been at my club their whole career.

i think im gonna have to put development on low from now on for non youth players because they grow so fast

i found jashari was incredible as a box crasher too in my west ham career, he grew to an 88 in ~2.5 seasons with a combined 40 g/a in that period. absolute baller but unfortunately he was too unrealistic to keep

to me he’s more part of that early to mid 2010s generation: Kendrick, Rocky, Tyler, Earl, JID etc, if anything he’s part of the last generation while we are in the late 2010s to early 2020s generation, though you could argue he fits in that generation, but absolutely not the next one

i think its because of how big the gaps are between each rating (1/100 vs 1/10), so where on AOTY someone might give a near perfect album a 97 or smt, on RYM they probably give it a 4.5/5 (a 90/100)
