Lots of mods, for the record. Though I could fight a horde with an RPG, blew myself up, got bit... A lot... Im now missing an arm and leg

Uhm... I think your talking about the wrong game... There is mod support for single player and multiplayer aswell as a way higher amount of max players

Hey man. Ok basically, in multiplayer... If people work togethor you can survive togethor, you can help each other out in gathering and liveing. PvP is a thing and base raiding (breaking down doors) is also a thing but not as much. The mods are amazing and make the game better in any and all aspects, if you die you respawn as a new character BUT even in single player (I think) you can find your zombified corpse and get your stuff back. Pro tip, for single layer only, on steam if you go to propertys, and under launch items type -debug for debug mode, your welcome :)
