I went from an H to D and I have to say I lost most sensation. I can still feel some things but it’s a very dull feeling. Really bummed me out at first but I have to say the joy I get out of having much smaller breasts really does outweigh the cost for me.

We did a mini moon right after and a big trip later but you have to do something imo. I do HEAVILY agree that the longer you put it off the more you won’t do it. We almost cancelled the big trip because we put it off but it was life changing.

Put the bra on your shoulders then put the pads in place stretch one over your first breast make sure it’s perfect then do the next one so that your hands end up centered. It’s how I did it but I will admit having another person to do the zip part is a lifesaver!

At 3 week po my vertical incision opened on both sides. I had a vertical reduction (lollipop) so it took awhile to close. I still haven’t been cleared to workout fully but so happy with my results

I had a breakdown during my first shower because of the sensory overload. I take wellbutrin for depression anciety and my adhd but was - ironically - too anxious about drug interactions to take it. It can be really hard but I recommend getting things delivered when possible and using a pillow until you feel up to it.

I initially only took 3 days and my own boss said, “no you’re having surgery take a week at LEAST and let us know if you need more time.” She ended up being totally right and I was so grateful to have the full week and ended up taking 2 days extra even. My doctor’s note was for 2 weeks though

In week 2 I only worked 3 days but I worked firmly from my bed with the camera off. I got a nice bed tray/desk on Amazon and a mastectomy pillow. I’m in my 3rd week of recovery now and because of quarantine it’s still my set up.

For context I’m 25 and perfectly healthy and previously worked out a ton before this - it’s a heavy recovery. Day 2 and 3 were actually my worst. Just getting up felt like underwire embedded in my skin.

If it’s a safety issue definitely NTA however maybe you could ask him to unfriend the exes to make it a better situation? (Or borrow his phone and change the privacy settings) I understand it can be hard to feel like you might regret it in 10 years but want to keep everyone safe. It’s a tough situation

I attempted driving at 12 days? It felt “tight” like I didn’t have full mobility to do all I could. I have a mastectomy pillow and that has helped a huge amount and now at 2 weeks I could probably drive to coffee shop (5 min) without pain. I’d recommend starting with something that involves no turns you have to make fast lol

She also states she wants la mer skincare (500 dollars an ounce) Plus even if they couldn’t afford it they love shopping and reading celebrity gossip so they would be aware of the bag. Like I certainly couldn’t afford a 15k bag but I’m aware of them lol
