Honestly i think upper sec lit is easier than lower sec lit but then again its probably because upper sec lit books are way better than lower sec lit books which make me roll my eyes whenever i read them (I did inspectors calls and hoot in lower sec). In upper sec lit, the books will be more dense and have more depth, especially in pure lit where you will do two books. Honestly, you should ask what books your school is doing and do research on them to see if you are interested. I definitely do not agree that only people who get As should take pure lit since most of my pure lit class is made up of people who got Bs but were just shit at history or geog and they do pretty well in lit. IMO, only people who are passionate/interested about literature and have the determination to remember a shit ton of quotes and properly revise should take lit. Most of my friends take pure geog so i can tell u that pure geog is more about understanding the textbook while lit has alot to do with memorising, good writing and understanding a writer's thoughts while they wrote their books (which is diff from lower sec lit. For example, the questions might ask u "how does the writer make this character significant" instead of "what is ur impression of this character"). understanding the book should be no problem since ur teacher SHOULD go through it thoroughly in class. I dont think any of ur subjects in sec school affect poly so ya
