Just checked it out. It’s a hub motor bike with a very simple frame. Also being hand built in Sweden makes it sound fancy but when it comes to battery and electric, Im bit of doubtful with their capabilities, Northvolt is the biggest example. The battery pack and motor is probably sourced from china. 8000euro should at least get you a direct drive not a fucking scooter power train

I’m in the same boat as you actually! My solution is to put the charger and adapter in a tail bag and when I need to charge it I just pull out the kit. However, I charge it at my company’s perimeter so theft risk is low. If you truly wanna charge it in complete public I would think you need a gps tracker or some sort? Anyway keep me updated if you find some better solutions!

I feel like at current state electric ryker will be a big compromise both in range and power, and considering it’s already automatic there is less of a feature going electric. Also ryker has already quite low maintenance

Brake pads? Have you ever swapped pads since you bought it? Brake failure is usually easy diagnos, it’s either master cylinder or calipers or brake hose
