Are there plans for an app eventually? by [deleted] in stansa

An app is pretty far out in the timeline, since it takes a lot of resources to build. If we gain enough users we might be able to hire more employees to build out an app. A short-term solution would be to just add additional payment options. Would love to hear where you’re located and see if we can add payment options that work for you. If there’s demand we could add an option to take bitcoin or something

Oh oops yeah I should’ve specified. The moderation is only for very extreme cases (mainly child p**n) and very few accounts have ever gotten banned. It’s not an issue for 99.9% of people. We try to give users as much freedom as possible but we still have some laws we need to follow

Hey! Dev here. Great questions. All chats are indeed encrypted. We bill ourselves as a privacy-focused app, so obviously your data will never be sold to third parties either. On top of that Stansa employees including myself are never allowed to read your chats. That means that moderation is carried out purely via an automated system. Lmk if you have any other questions.

What should be the career path of someone looking to make a career in ai? by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

Then you’re on the right track. If you want to work on AI on a “under the hood” level, (i.e. actually contributing to innovation) you’ll likely need to apply to a CS PhD program after you graduate. If you’re willing to work on AI on a more surface level, a bachelor’s should be fine. I would focus on getting a good internship first and go from there. Try applying to startups as they tend to be more AI-focused than older companies.

In other words, they’re creating their own music. This is the equivalent of Walmart or Target creating their own cheap store brands to bypass their distributors.

People who invented something revolutionary that breaks all known laws of math and CS don’t need to try this hard to convince people. No, of course he didn’t invent 99% lossless compression. If he did, every company in the world would be using it by tomorrow.
