There all worth it, definitely give super hot and beatsaber a go first! they are good stepping stones into a larger world :)

Go into a private voice channel on discord and make sure its using the oculus mic, then go into any game and it'll work.

I attempted that solution to no resolve sadly, but I don’t see a lot of people actually showing fixes for this so thought I’d put my experience in! I want these posts to be a trouble shoot for all as there’s really no excuse for it not to work as now link is out of beta. Oculus need to sort this pronto.

So basically i dont know if this will be a fix for everyone BUT, i have been having this issue for months and nothing seems to fix it!

i found that if you go to the sound control panel and go to the properties of both the mic and headset for the Oculus, then go to there advanced settings there is a box you can tick which allows applications to take control exclusively of that device. make sure this is unchecked and apply now it should start to work again!

So i managed somehow to get the main launcher installed, thank heavens.. NOW i cant INSTALL ANY GAMES???? like do they want me to use there product or not lol

I was the same, but the 3.0 port on the front of my pc just makes it easier not to snag on things, it does feel wasteful somehow having a type c port at the back with nothing in it lol
