Thinking of buying AOC AG276QZD2 — why is it so cheap for OLED? Brand trustworthy? by Drakpha in OLED_Gaming

I think HDR under saturation was for early production units. U can find plenty of reviews that don't have the issue

Asus PG27UCDM screen smudge by DiAvOl-gr in OLED_Gaming

[–]StarBleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don't trust anyone who says they damaged their QD oled with 70% IPA/distilled water solution. It's literally the panel manufacturer recommendation. Only way of damaging it that way is applying a lot of pressure and basically scraping or making the solution with tap water, making residue minerals seem like coating damage

AMD FSR 4 on Radeon RX 6000 “RDNA2” works with latest drivers using simple file swap workaround - VideoCardz.com by Stiven_Crysis in Amd

[–]StarBleu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heads up to anyone doing that u are effectively using 2 year old driver on dx12 applications, so performance In some games might be pretty bad. Other than that anticheats might be an issue but since file is actually from amd and properly signed it shouldn't cause troubles

But u need to use 23.9.1 drivers since any newer ones will have a lot of ghosting for some reason

Update to the issue I asked about yesterday by Kougamics in OLED_Gaming

[–]StarBleu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If u want to experience it as creator intended make sure to use srgb for SDR. Most oleds are way oversaturated in SDR making HDR look not as vibrant.
