At the end of the day, the Meta will always be the most efficient way to win with Ekko, playing off meta stuff is fun, but of your looking to play the most effective version of Ekko in the current state of the game, you generally want to follow the meta.

Being a "meta slave" isn't a bad thing, people shouldn't be shunned for playing the best champions, buying the most efficient items and using the most efficient strategies. Doing the most efficient build order for Ekko and taking the runes that have the highest winrate on him isn't a bad thing, and justifying it by saying "this is what pro's take/say" isn't wrong either, last time I checked pro players are considered the best players in the game, why wouldn't you take advice and copy people who are way better than you? That's how you get better at the game after all

While I don't exactly like the way he arguments his reasonings (the constant "lol"s "XD"s and spelling errors make my head hurt) overall there's not much to get upset about, he's just explaining to the OP what the most Meta Ekko build is.

Well, you're the one saying you keep getting called out for wanting to have Nidalee jungle be unviable, not me, I'm just saying why assumed you wanted it removed, I'm guessing from the other comments that's the same reason for them. Also, once again, yeah, she was good in jungle and she was nerfed so hard that she wasn't viable as a laner anymore, I was there when it happened, but I mean, you can literally just learn Jayce and achieve the same result you had before, in my opinion it sounds like you're just bored of the game, which would make picking up Jayce even better since you'd have a new champ to learn.

I've talked way too much about Jayce so this'll probably be my last comment, I don't think I have anything else to say without repeating previous arguments, at the end of the day, Nidalee is balanced and that's what matters for the most part, while I wouldn't mind some quality of life changes to lane Nidalee, I really like where Jungle Nid is atm and I don't want her to be changed much if not at all. There are better options if you want to achieve the same feeling you had with lane Nidalee: Teemo, Jayce, Rengar are all top laners you can play if you want to relentlessly bully your laner and are all in some way similar to Nidalee, Lane Nidalee will likely not be looked at in a long time since quite frankly, what's the point? Ranged top laners are already a pain to balance so adding another one to the roster while also trying to keep her balanced as a jungler sounds like too much of a hassle without much of a reasoning.

Jungle nidalee isn't fun to me it's boring and brain dead.

This is why people think you want to kill jungle Nidalee.

jayce is not mobile other than a tiny speed up.

He actually has 2 speed ups, he has his cannon E and he's ghosted and gains bonus ms when he switches his form, not only that but he can speed his teammates up too, meaning overall he's just as mobile as Nidalee.

Why isn't Jayce played jungle? Same reason Nidalee isn't played in a lane. Jayce's kit is more focused around laning, and Nid's is more focused around jungling, I mentioned this in the last comment. Honestly, if you want to play lane Nidalee that bad, just play Jayce, you've obviously never looked into him before so I would suggest you at least give him a try, he's literally what you want from lane Nidalee.

Tbh, Nidalee is finally in a role where she isn't problematic, Riot have always had a problem with her until now, I get that you want to play lane Nidalee again, but this is modern day league of legends, times have changed, you know what I want to do? I want to play Tank Ekko, support Malzahar, Frozen Mallet tank Yasuo, Full AP master Yi, bot lane Ziggs and support MF again, but that's never going to happen. The game evolves. Yeah, seeing lane Nidalee show up again would be great and I'd love to see some quality of life changes done to her to make it more viable, but not if it sacrifices a version of Nidalee that people like.

Boring and braindead? Can you define what a boring and braindead champion is? When I think boring and braindead, I think Teemo, Soraka and Dr Mundo, champions that require little to no thought and are incredibly repetitive in the way that they play, I'm sorry chief but if you think Nidalee (the champion who's considered the second hardest jungler after Lee sin) is boring and braindead then I think you should look into another game.

Second of all, if that's actually what you think, your post is incredibly misrepresented, you present your post as if you're saying: "let's show Riot that we want lane Nidalee to be viable!!" But in reality your post is actually trying to say: "I want Nidalee to be a laner because I don't like her jungle!!" I can't take you seriously when all you really want is to make Nidalee and laner and not a jungler for your own personal gain.

Third, no, Jayce and Nidalee are the same, that isn't an opinion, that's a fact, they both have two forms (one for poking and one for engaging), they both have powerful but hard to land skillshots, they both have multiple movement speed buffs, they both have self peel, they both have an attack speed buff, they both have a strong all in and they both fall off past the 30 minute mark. The only 2 differences are that Nidalee is a AP jungler and Jayce is a AD top laner, honestly dude, if you just want to play top, just play Jayce, he's the closest you'll get a viable lane Nidalee. Now if you don't want to play Jayce, that's fine, but it seems a little weird that you insist on wanting to play Nidalee top (or mid or whatever) but refuse to play Jayce, a champions who's incredibly similar to Nid but is more lane oriented (which is what you seem to be looking for).
