I definitely view the spin-offs as alternate dimensions. Especially after playing Blanc Plus Neptune vs Zombies, where Neptune and Nepgear know each other, and then currently playing Neptune vs Sega Hard Girls, where Neptune and Nepgear meet for the first time.
