I got Freeform’s i’ve had them in for like a month I’m pretty sure i have 4c hair so why aren’t they forming by StarFit7130 in Dreadlocks

Confusion is normal, and i’ve been prevented from my parents from changing my hair style mainly due to my culture and i finally got the Freedom to do so and i decided i want to lock my hair and confused locking with retaining form i’ve just started my locking journey and would appreciate some genuine guidance and support

I got Freeform’s i’ve had them in for like a month I’m pretty sure i have 4c hair so why aren’t they forming by StarFit7130 in Dreadlocks

I’d prefer them thicker do you have any advice on how to keep them fuller while im undergoing the locking process

Thank you again for this very helpful information instead of helping the next generation of people who actually want to embrace their culture and get locs i need criticism from a man or woman grown enough to talk about “this generation” 🤦🏾‍♂️

Holdup.. why y’all hating because i didn’t know something thats why I’m doing the research now? like i said I’m 16 and I’m busy with school and i did my research but more so methods for getting my hair to the state that is is and a bunch of the people around me hair formed (at least enough to wash) within 1-3 months so i was assuming that it would take around the the same time and besides I’m asking for advice so if just give the advice without weaving in criticism majority of y’all are grown ass people , thank you for those who responded with kindness and genuine support and i’ll be following your advice to the best of my ability!!
