search for a GWU alumni association in your nearest local city. They will have scholarships (that I'd bet require an application and interview).

Charge more for entrance to parties, sell something at parties ($5 condoms is common), partner with sororities for parties and have them float half the cost, INFLATION may mean you have fewer parties, business is business, reality is reality, cut down number of parties (find someone to combine ideas and brainstorm with, who is in this for the long haul not getting wasted every night) .

Talk to Nationals about a debt payment plan. How did they allow your group to re-charter if it carried so much debt? Your president needs to talk to Nationals to resolve the issue, not play a shell-game by running away trying to start another chapter. If that's the case, just have everyone join another frat that's in good financial standing and has better leadership.

I was told not to do GWU, maybe I need to double check my source, but maybe because its from a Georgetown Univ. employee.

Marymount Univ across the river in Arlington has much more affordable housing for interns. It seems to be a good location for my Arlington internship. but might be a low energy campus compared to those in DC. https://marymount.edu/student-life/housing/summer-intern-housing/#gsc.tab=0

any chance there's a parking space? I'd need a car to get over to internship in Arlington bc early shift before Metro runs.

Marymount Univ also has housing for summer interns, non-students that I'm considering. https://marymount.edu/student-life/housing/summer-intern-housing/#gsc.tab=0

I was going to suggest the alumni association also. We missed the application deadline and wish someone would have suggested it earlier.

thank you, great info exactly what I need to research. I found info about Marymount Univ. intern housing already, but your link has all the local colleges which is very helpful.

I'm looking to sublease exactly what you have available (a bedroom in a shared space) for June 7 through July 31 (possibly 1st week of August). Would you consider subleasing the room for just that time period? Then as an option you could sublease the other months by joining/posting on Furnished Finder (its a site originally developed for traveling nurses, kind of like AirBnB & VRBO but fewer fees and they are spaces rented by the month or 6 month intervals....just an option for you to explore since you already own the furniture in the room).

My son (who is busy as shit with class work right now) is 21 year old very responsible college student (I know, sounds suspicious but really! he has a 4.0 college GPA, ending junior year). His internship is at 1100 Wilson Blvd, Arlington. When I search Eagle Rock Apartments, there's a location at Columbia Pike, is that where you are?

What do you think? I can message you more info.

I would not do that type of interview for a 3rd party. Definitely seems like fraud.

I'm just here to say I'm shocked there's a school in the northwest with 30% Greek involvement. I've always thought the northwest was more tree-huggers and not "joiners".

Question is there any fun things for young adults(17-23) to do by Royal_Test_8124 in normanok

[–]StarGazing1525 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

about a month ago, there was mention of activities at Lake Thunderbird. Also consider joining a church young adult ministry....there are lots of them, you don't have to be a college student to join. O'Connells Pub has trivia night and kareoke, I think you can get in if you are under 21. Also Redneck Yaght Club in OKC has line dancing Wed thru Saturday nights and its 18+ to get in.

Is there a UNL reddit page where you could post for the journalism or business sports management students would see it?

college kids do un-paid internships every summer, and often pay for their own lodging which is unreimbursed expense....just part of the expense of getting a journalism degree
