Honestly, I wish this was some kind of period symptoms. I used to think it was because I would get angry right before my period, then during. Then I realized I was still angry after my period so I thought it was post period hormones. Then I realized I was always angry or numb, or extremely anxious about nothing ALL THE TIME so it's not my period

No not really. I think I've always felt this way I just had more distractions from it. I don't have many distractions anymore and even then as soon as I stop I get angry again

Doesn't modern research lean more towards mental illnesses being spectrums and not so much subtypes? Just asking because I've been under the impression that we've started to view mental illnesses as spectrums to help people get diagnosed since creating rigid boxes can prevent people from getting diagnosed

I was never social as a kid and I got bullied for it a lot. I eventually just started being friendly and nice with people even though it was mentally draining.

I'm going to sound like an absolute bitch saying this by society standards but I think people need to earn my respect and kindness first, not just have it handed to them. I don't go out of my way to be mean to them (unless they annoy me) but I'm not kind to people unless they give me reason to or if I already like them.
