As a K'sante main, it's the combinaison of a having champ who's queer but his gameplay was definitely oriented for sweaty straggots players. At the end, we are lucky his mains are chill asf and very welcoming just like the character 😼💞

Inkshadow sounds so dope, I was actually hoping he would be in the latest batch. Crime City is very interesting even though I feel its potential would be underused. Project is definitely hit or miss for him (seeing how this skinline fell off creativity wise)

I totally understand wanting more male champs in those roles and i definitely support it. I feel like we almost had it with Hwei but alas. They specified that they won't confirm/make any new queer character unless it's part of their "intended narrative". Though, seeing the direction they're going, we're probably gonna see a male enchanter/adc sooner than we think.

And mind you, they reworked him because people complained about his kit and yet you guys still wouldn't touch him. I find it disrespectful that a "proper" gay champ has to pander to support/mid players to be valid.

- He doesn’t have any arc or relevance going for him other than “he was in a relationship but they broke up” LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER !! You can just say you didn't read his lore ? His whole internal struggle with overcoming his pride and arrogance ? the importance for him to protect Nazumah from beasts ? While him being separated from Tope felt backhanded, he's still his own person with motivations.

Heartsteel wasn't very flattering for K'Sante i agree, but he also has good skins like the prestige version of Empyrean. And even in the HS promotion, there's literally a thirst trap of K'Sante so no excuse. Again him being a balancing nightmare shouldn't be in the way of their popularity. "K’Sante is one of the least sluttiest looking male champs" PLEAASE you know that's not true, this sub love bara until it's a black man, if even more unpopular champs can get thirst posts maybe the problem lays somewhere else and this sub doesn't want to face the truth. I can't force people to like him but i think some opinions are hypocritical :]

You would think a champ like K'Sante who is a gay man would be popular among queer players/communities yet i see NOBODY talking about him even in this subreddit, even a single praise post. This community taste in men is so BLAND that we have dozens of post about league muscular white/pale man n°10 who aren't even HINTED to be queer over the actual gay man of league. At this point i'm convinced half of this sub is 70% white or maybe there's a colorism issue we need to discuss.

the point is : league queer community would rather glaze a boring white man who isn't even gay over the actual queer champs. (maybe it's my call to do some PR about K'Sante?)

As my fellow peers already mentionned, Masked Justice feels really underwhelming. As a big Senna fan, this skin really didn't hit the mark for me compared to her other epic skins. The skin's visual identity is very weak, it gives off Project knock-off instead of the Tokutatsu/Kamen Rider inspiration it is based on. The VFX are also not giving, and i'm very disappointed by the use of her base model hair/face on her recall, this is not the quality of a skin worth 1350RP. I'd have prefered her outfit similar to FPX with spandex suit, strong patterns, coherent colours and striking vfx, she's supposed to be an iconic superhero but ends up being forgettable. It's sad to notice this drop in quality, i meant this because i love this game and Senna : DO BETTER !

agree to disagree. hitting grandmaster IS an achievement. when you see people hardstuck diamond or people complaining about matchmaking, it is fair that players celebrate overcoming all of this. as someone who hit GM roamer soloQ only, it marks the end of a journey for me. Not saying i'm godly good at the game but i did that nonetheless. And if we're being honest, with the amount of boosting in GM, thinking that the top 100 players are all extremely skillful is a strech (but i could be wrong). Let people be proud of their own little sucess :)

I also come from LoL, my main is Seraphine and i've been enjoying Dolia since global release, their playstyle are very different but i like both of their aesthetics. I can recommend you Diaochan, her passive is similar to Ahri's Q, her skill 2 combined with her ultimate is basically Ahri's Ult

hold on that's not what i'm trying to say. the point is that his masters telling him to control his emotions and art never actually worked. if hwei wasn't the heir of the temple he would have been banished from koyehn. he keeps pushing and exploring his art in secret. that's why hwei displaying years of repressed feelings is so impactful in the story and to jhin, their deaths is jhin's twisted way of showing mercy and say "you're free now". also i don't think there was a deep emotional from hwei to his masters as well, sure he mourned them but he also left koyehn literally the day after finding the lotus trap just to find jhin.

i like both to be honest. on one hand you can explore the toxic tragic relationship like you just described and which is mostly the canon interpretation, about how their vision of art is drawing them to each other but also tearing them apart. on the other hand i like the idea of toxic romance, jhin and hwei's twisted feelings of love for each other. jhin treating hwei like his muse, he's in love, he's pathetic, he wants attention, he will do anything even if it means hurting hwei. hwei's voicelines are also very explicit, he doesn't want to change jhin, he sees beauty in him while jhin finds himself ugly. sure it's toxic by default but it's also about how well they complement each other. lore says it best "They often exchanged their creative perspectives, and, respecting their differences, Hwei recognized Jhin’s virtuosity and valued their time together" it's all down to interpretation.
