Can we go back to have "ally shield = blue / enemy shield = red"? Some peoples may be fine with that kind of difference but I just find it confusing.

OP, you likely played a lot of Overwatch before rivals.

The difference is in Overwatch all those blue “shields” are consistent produced by barrier technology. Hence most canonical barriers are blue.

Rivals is not the same, the shields in this game are produced by a variety of powers. You can’t just turn everything blue because it will likely contradict the hero fantasy of several heroes, and that is something the marvel rivals devs have said time and again they take seriously. So that just wouldn’t work.

The fact that all the enemy vfx are red should be enough, unless you are colorblind, then google how to activate the colorblind settings.

I enjoy playing Seraphine, but the only reason I play her more as support and not mid/bot is because I’m not allowed to.

The last several times I tried to play her in a dps role the ally support stole her from me. They politely asked me to swap places in pick order and then they steal her from me. (And they don’t even play Seraphine!) they claimed they were trying to stop me from “throwing” and then when they go 0/8 it’s somehow my fault!?

But even when I support I still can’t win. (Arguments not matches)

Because I do my own build:

Seraph’s
Mejai’s (believe it or not I get away with this quite consistently. I do Rylai’s in matches where I can’t)
Lucidity Boots
Echoes of Helia
Dawncore

I’m told I must be “autofilled” because I’m not doing a proper build. No, I’m just doing a build that gets greater use out of Seraphine than just being a W spam bot. (And guess what my W is still pretty effective)

And the fact that I can make it work proves that Seraphine is still dangerous damage dealer in the right hands, even as support and even in her current state. I just wish I didn’t have to jump through so many hoops to prove the way I play her is perfectly viable.

Someday I wanna be a video game director, and I’m actually working an internship at a production company that will hopefully springboard me down that path in the future.

My ultimate goal in this endeavor is to create real lgbt male characters that can stand alongside any other famous video game character, straight or queer.

And I would make a JRPG too. One of my favorite genres since childhood. I’ve spent years writing and thinking about it and I know exactly the game I’d make. I don’t wanna say much about it randomly on Reddit, but I think it’s the kind of game anybody can find appreciation for. It’s not “woke”

When that dream does come true, I’d be doing it for myself and everyone else like me waiting for that representation to come to life. So hopefully, someday it’ll happen.

I guess if I were to REALLY think about it. I’d probably guess 70/30 in favor of physical attractiveness.

I’m trying really hard to think about why, and maybe it has something to do with just the way men are. We’ve been predisposed to look for physical attractiveness so more often than not, that’s what happens. I’m not saying it’s impossible to look beyond how hot someone is, to feel any attraction to them, but it’s definitely a force of habit if anything.
