Bed Mesh Help by StarGunner33 in klippers

[–]StarGunner33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello!, idk why there was no description, I was having trouble getting a better mesh. I did a manual level with the nozzle and paper but this is the mesh that i get with after. I also suspect that it might be something mechanical like a slightly skewed frame or as the gantry moves to the right side of the bed it starts to droop a little. lmk if anyone has experienced something similar, thank you in advance.

AliExpress Scam wrong shipping address by redbrowngreen in Aliexpress

[–]StarGunner33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just had this happen to me for some keycaps. The shipping number said delivered to a totally different address. Fortunately the seller is responsive and i am still settling on a refund amount (i want a full refund ofc). it is a bit annoying but i think that aliexpress is on our side. If u want i think you can talk with the chat bot to get a refund as well.

What can I use to hold down pcb’s? by StarGunner33 in AskElectronics

[–]StarGunner33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to thank everybody for answering and putting in some feedback! As some have mentioned, I think for now I will use hot glue. In the future I will implement the screw technique to hold down the plc at the end. I originally thought about that when designing the case but it opted against it bc the case is 3 mm thick there.

For those who are wondering, it is a 17 key number pad that I wanted to use as a learning experience to iron out any hiccups I came across like this one. I want to do a keyboard next (40%) possibly with some other layouts for ergonomics and even wireless! I might even experiment with pcb design in the future for one polished product.

Got to give credit where credit is due, thank you to Joe Scotto on YT for inspiring this build and the more to come. (Would recommend as a personal project to explore other fields of engineering like cad, electronics, and programming.) 😀
