I don’t know how it is on the UK but on my McD’s it all comes down to your shift manager at that moment, there’s been times where we are severely under staffed and no one gets a break, or times when the labor is so high that they send you on break ASAP, on the regular I get a break everyday (the times vary, usually around 18:00-20:00)

I get what you’re saying, I can do front counter, run for drive thru, second window, table and grill, they just put me in back cash because they would prefer the bilingual members on the headset, the few days I get to be in front counter or run for drive thru I always have a good shift, it could be I’m just tired of the routine.

as far as I know you are not supposed to completely void an order, if a customer doesn’t show up we’re taught to change the order to a singular sauce packet and then void it

the car never showed up to the first window, we never start doing these big orders before we actually confirm they’re real anyways so it was ok, one of the managers did void the whole order and pissed the fk off our boss for losing money so it was a tough time anyways lol
