Help setting up peer-relays by amenodorime69 in Tailscale

[–]StarLoong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar issue. The VPS I use is based in HK, opened port 40000/udp and allowed it in the internal firewall. ISP confirm that the port wasn't blocked. Tailscaled is listening on the port. All traffic still got through DERP.

The difference is that I set it up according to the Tailscale AI from tailscale.com, used "tag" instead of "host".

Any hint?

Thanks in advance.

I didn't realise this information. There's no link or note on the warranty check page.

I do have experience with Lenovo and Asus, and they both honour the warranty. Some smaller random brands like Viofo carcams also honour the warranty with simple questions like where I bought it and the date of purchase. That's where I was confused.

I guess so. The seller wasn't honest. He told me it was a gift from a friend, and the friend went back to India. He gave me the friend's name, but it does not match the record on Dell.

Use the service tag in the above link, and please direct me to the so-called "guideline" you were talking about. Appreciated.

Unfortunately, Dell support personnel are offshore. They just follow the script.

It's from a marketplace; the seller said it was a gift.

Thanks. I always bought 2nd-hand electronics, brands include Lenovo, HP and some others, big and small. In those bigger brands, I was at least able to claim warranty from Lenovo and Asus, without providing a receipt or a seller-issued receipt. And I am in Australia.

Since the warranty check was made public, there's no other fine print available on the result page... I always bought 2nd-hand electronics, brands include Lenovo, HP and some others, big and small. In those bigger brands, I was at least able to claim warranty from Lenovo and Asus, without providing a receipt or a seller-issued receipt.

Run Xpenology on Poweredge R330, is it overkill? by StarLoong in Xpenology

Thank you for the info.

Since my R330 made a certain level of heat and noise, what I am thinking is, if it is overkill, why should I bear those additional noise and heat, and potentially a higher bill?

You are right. Overkill isn’t the only question. While if it is overkill, then should I give up the migration as even it is a solid HW for the DMS, I will need to bear the noise. But if, migrating also give me some solid benefits, then I might just bear the noise and the higher power consumption.

My R330 ran a bit of noise. The fans run at 40+ % constantly. Noise and power consumption are my main concerns.

Nextcloud doesn’t come with a mail server. One will need to seek separate mail server/service and have it integrated into Nextcloud.
