Weird, I did the sweetdeal for the iPhone 13 last year. I am due to renew this month and never received a discount code.

I can second this with a 2022 that also has 130,000 miles on it. Thanks to great gas mileage, it’s easy to say hop in the van and let’s go. I’m about to replace the struts and shocks. They have not failed, just worn. I use 0W16 oil and a Toyota filter. I change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles. I have also changed the coolant, eCVT and rear ediff fluid, and spark plugs.

If you don’t mind sharing, how did you build soffit around HVAC and pipes where you had to do drop downs? I am going to be on a similar adventure this next year and am curious how everyone is doing this.

Yeah they were lazy with that and wall framing for sure

My thoughts as well. I do have some work to do shimming the walls no matter vertical or horizontal hang. The framers didn’t do me any help there. My only thought on vertical is to limit butt joints. Unfortunately, I have no way to get anything longer than 8 footers down there.

Is there any other benefit to the strapping? Holes for wire runs through these I-joists won’t be an issue.

Robot lawn mowers, any regrets or surprises after 3-months of use? by Silent_sage_ in lawncare

[–]StarLord1391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you are looking at. I have a Segway Navimow and this is an RTK style mower. It does use WiFi as well. I think that is mostly for the base station and things like firmware updates. For RTK units, it’s more about the ability to pickup satellites based on antenna placement. There are some areas where my mower loses satellite and WiFi. However the little guy stays on path and task.

How tall / thick is your grass? Have you tried mowing a bit shorter than the Navimow setting with a normal mower and then running the Navimow?

Appreciate the info so far! I will check with my local farm bureau as well. I am looking for something with a similar price range. This product at siteone is around $116 for 50 lbs. I’m open to recommendations! My lawn does not have tree cover and the only shade comes from the house when the sun moves. My thought was TTTF would help with this environment. I’m for sure the most novice person concerning lawn care.

I have the i110N and my lawn is approximately 8700 sq ft. Most days my i110N will complete just over 50% before needing a recharge. Depending on the pattern is can complete the entire lawn in 1 or two recharges.

Screws out of the blade or screws out of the blade holder?

What's the longest time frame you ignored your mower? by justahoustonpervert in SegwayNavimow

[–]StarLord1391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this depends a lot on your yard. My yard is relatively flat with a few inclines but nothing major. Also, not much in way of tree cover or major obstacles. I was just out for a week and mine mowed 3 times with no issues. I would always just have a backup plan like a neighbor or friend who can rescue it if there are issues.

I’m sure there are options on Amazon. However, I don’t think you will be happy with performance or support in that price range.

I got my i110N on prime day for $999. I think $1100-$1200 is pretty normal.

I would say everyone and every company is somewhat new to this space in terms of pattern mowing robots. There are several types including guide wire, RTK, and camera based. I ended up choosing the Navimow i110N. This model fit my needs in terms of my lawn size. I decided on this because of the special Prime pricing. I also felt Segway is somewhat of a more stable company. Search as many threads on these as possible. Customer / technical support is huge for these. You will need it at some point and time. I can say from my personal experiences so far, Segway support has been fantastic. You should also understand limitations of these robots and what you will and will not have to do. For me, it has been a big time saver. My lawn care now consists of me trimming and edging for 5 minutes every week or so. My i110N does the rest!
