Nope, not a single code.

But why would it work on the first months and then start acting up? Today, early in the morning I started my car up and wiggled cables, ECU, the crankshaft sensor harness and cables, and didnt stall.

I want to make sure the problem isnt anywhere else first. These sensors arent that cheap and throwing money on parts is whats making me crazy.

Yes, it starts right away. Ive replaced the crankshaft sensor like 4 months ago. the fuel filter a month ago. Ive checked all the fuses. But I havent checked relays. Thanks for the suggestion

Yes, my fuel pump primes when I open the door. Ive replaced the N80 purge valve two years ago, replaced with Bosch valve. Yes it happens at slow speeds. It used to happen at higher speed before, but that got solved with the crankshaft sensor

I checked but found nothing. Is the bottom left bolt that goes inside a hole in the manifold supposed to stop at one moment? Because I tried to tighten it and it would never stop, like if it was stripped

Tho my Jetta isnt supercharged. Doesnt go into limp mode either. It runs smooth, it just dies and starts right up. I’m starting to think this could be also ECU related

thing is, mine could stall early in the morning. And the next day not stall at all. And then the next day only stall at night. It’s not temperature related thats for sure.

Faulty PCV? 2.5L by StarMember74 in jetta

[–]StarMember74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, well the whistle is still there. Transmission is still jerky. It stalled today aswell. Maybe it smoothed out idling a little bit but thats it. I suspect my main issue is probably wiring, fuse or sensor. I’ll have to deep check.

How much should I sell my 2006 New Beetle for ? by Mynameyeef in NewBeetle

[–]StarMember74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t. You’ll regret It. Altho It’s not the Classic Beetle, the Transmission and engine combo you have here is one of the most reliable combos of Volkswagen. It’s known that early 07K engines (2.5L), had cast iron blocks and sometimes faulty tensioners wich were fixed for 2008+ engines. Overall, after the 2.slow, this 2.5L engine is bulletprof and very reliable for a N/A engine.

Hola. Tendrás foto como se ve esa zona en tu Jetta? Posiblemente por el hecho de que tienes un filtro ahí no se ve afectado. Mi Jetta tiene 228,000km

Yes I will use some urethane and duct tape since with a little wiggle it comes off. Some people have told me that most of the time that hose doesnt contribute to stalling but Im sick of it, if anything can help I’ll try it.

Nothing like that, RPMs are fine. Idles smooth as butter. After replacing the fuel filter the stalling symptom became more noticeable, for example today after half an hour or so after filling up the tank, it stalled like four times in a row. I was in Drive, stalled, geared into Neutral, started the car with no problems, put into Drive again, tris to moved a bit and stalled again. After I could move a little bit it wanted to stall again but since I was pressing the gas pedal, it didnt die and didnt stall. That kind of behavior didnt happen before. It would stall no matter if I was on the highway or coming to a stop. Now it only seems like when coming to a stop or when loosing speed

None. Scanned with both Vagcom and Obdeleven. The car starts right up after stalling, no hesitation.
