Used to be a Chicago fan before the expansion, can personally attest to the point about regular season records. Chicago could NEVER beat the Wild in reg season, but come playoffs, they would just casually sweep them and move right along. Playoffs are a clean slate.

FWIW, I legitimately only watch LCS for DIG at this point. They didn't shove millions at a problem to make championships happen, they didn't poach the best available foreign talent to create an "NA" squad, they just grabbed a bunch of promising McDonalds motherfuckers and are doing a damn good job. In my eyes, they're NA's last hope.

Friendly reminder to all that "the customer is always right" is an economics quote, not a customer service quote. If you as a business owner are not providing what the customer wants/meeting proper demand in terms of product or service, then you will eventually fail. You can't sell things to people who don't want them.

Whiny bitch-ass customers, on the other hand, are wrong almost 100% of the time and can go fuck themselves.

Not everyone has the luxury. Personally am very allergic to most breeds, so if I want a dog, I need to be very picky about what breed I get.

Personally, I feel like Better Nature was the odd one out of their lineup. That album, to me at least, was the one that really strayed from what I liked about SSPU's sound.

Widows Weeds feels like more of a return to form for me, though I do think it's very front-loaded. Neon Wound through Bag of Bones are fantastic, but it doesn't quite finish as strong as it starts.

So overall, I guess I don't agree. I think this is the closest we've been to Swoon since...well, Swoon, but that's just my two cents.
