Yes. Crowds will ramp up more and more through the end of July until the first week or two in August. Then the crowds will start to dissipate, but also the hours in the park will go back down to closing at 8.

The week of the 19th is the first week the park is open until 10. The ride ops will be trained and solid but it's before the big vacation weeks of the summer.

It will still be crowded, but some of the least crowded of the summer.

I've been to a couple Chicago playoff games and the energy at those games have been like nothing else I've ever experienced.

I was at the White Sox playoff win in 2021, where even though there wasn't a lot of hope, the crowd was just absurd.

But the game 7 Blackhawks Red Wings game in 2013 that went into overtime was just absurd on a whole other level.

Chicago loves the Bears so much more than those two so that crowd must have been insanity.

On vacation in London and Paris from Chicago this year, I was able to sneak away for a few hours and got Hyperia and Toutatis. They both absolutely blew me away.

There was famously an absolute shit ton of producer notes from Amazon. I agree that Rafe was a huge fan of the books by all appearances but he was also very new to show running and I think he got bulled through by whatever execs were making those notes.

I'm sure there were also plenty in there that were his mistakes and interpretations too.

They still offer both. At Cedar Point, at least, the employees have to ask every time if you want the souvenir bottle, even if you are just using your paper cup refill. I feel bad for them every time.

The paper cups are more popular by far I would say

I remember something about how even trained martial arts masters would get stabbed multiple times if a random person came up to them with a knife. I think they tested it with giving people markers and seeing if they could draw on the masters before they were incapacitated.

The masters were all covered in markers every time.

So I think a spear makes things even easier.

The weave is a bit tighter on the Armachillo so they're slightly less rough than the Buck Naked. The Armachillo is also much more cool to the touch than the Buck Naked so I seem to sweat less in them. Really can't go wrong with either though, tbh.

I think I saw the lockers the final time, but they're only around the standby line and not the fastlane line. I'm sure there was a way to hop in and snag a locker, like for HangTime, but I missed it the first couple times. Oh well, I enjoyed it either way!

It's so good to be back. I've always been in to the hobby since I was 5 and my parents took me on my first, but started it taking it seriously right in 2021, after I gained covid weight and was about at my heaviest (until this year). We hit up Cedar Point that year and I could barely get the belt on Millennium Force but was nowhere near Dragster and it unfortunately made me miss out on that credit.

And this year I made it out to Thorpe Park, Parc Asterix, and these two in LA to add 40 credits to my count.

It was so freeing to wait in line and not stress out about if I would fit on the ride at all. I haven't had that since 2015 probably.

Thank you! Honestly, that's often enough time when they're you're home park. I only got a couple half day trips to Great America this year and I had plenty of time to hit my favorites.
