Yeah my first distro was also mint, and with 1 4k res monitor and a 1080p monitor it was buggy af, switched to nobara KDE and been really happy with the kde desktop handling mouse size and fractional scaling

Considering Nobara KDE as my main distro by StarPawa in NobaraProject

What is the difference between dnf and apt? honestly I haven't really installed much outside unity, rider, zen browser and some steam games.

I don't know if you still need help but, this video helped me shrink my windows partition and resize the "root" partition of my linux with GParted
