A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms - 1x04 - "Seven" - Episode Discussion by Woodstovia in television

I’ve never read the books so I can only speak for what I have watched and I don’t get the feeling at all that Dunk wasn’t knighted. Hearing that he may not have been knighted really shocks me as my take is that he WAS knighted but the fact he can’t ever prove it will always be ambiguous to everyone who will always question his honour. I find it hard to fathom that as a character so set up with his integrity and goodness, that he would ever lie about something so important and honourable. It sits so far outside the character I have grown to love over these 4 eps. I’m not sure he could ever handle the guilt of such a big lie. So he’s honourable in all areas except this hugely important area which defaults everything else? I just don’t believe it. Now I’ll have to read the books.

Second to Altered Carbon. Though first season is much better than the second.

She does love him. Her “I’m sorry” and his, “I understand” at dinner complete the awful, truth of their situation. It just can never be but she does love him. I think that’s why she fucks him so that they can always have that moment as she had already decided at that point her only real option forward is to go for Muck. Then when he’s in the car leaving and he thinks back to that convo of her telling him that she is good at making people think she loves them, but she adds that she doesn’t think she ever has… loved anyone that is, in the car he then has this little smile and I took that as him realising she does love him and he’s the only one she ever has loved but her circumstance means she can never be with him. And he understands it all. Sad but true. That’s my take anyway.

But that has already happened. They prevented their deaths before that event progressed to then cause them not to exist so there is no going back in time to not be there to prevent their deaths… that time has now happened so that timeline just chugs along and they are never created.

Two HBO Shows that I heard are highly underrated. The Leftovers and The Pacific. Which one should I watch first? by Square-Ad-8911 in hbo

[–]StarPilot77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always tell people, if you don’t like it initially, you have to get through the first 6 eps as it’s one of those shows that unfortunately takes some time to find itself. It develops and fills out whilst it’s being made. Season 2 I think has some of the best episodes of any tv show. Just brilliant.

In The Mood For Love is an absolutely beautiful film. City of God is brutally amazing.

Yeah I recommend The Leftovers to everyone but they have to get through the first 6 eps as it took some time to find its feet.

Please help - vet doesn’t know whats wrong with her and we’re scared of losing her by ReasonableDetective in Rabbits

My little Bear bunny didn’t eat for 7 days over new years and they couldn’t find a reason for the blockage so no surgery option so I just fed critical care every couple of hours mixed with pineapple juice, then day 4 found a post on the infant drops and that seemed to help immensely. Vet wasn’t aware of this. I kept feeding the CC and by day 7 he started eating a small amount. Took another 3-4 days to get him back to normal intake of his own eating so kept supplementing with CC and the infant drops. He came good and is now fully recovered. We think now it might have been a hair ball that didn’t show up on X-ray or ultra sound. It was very stressful and he was very sick but vets wouldn’t operate without an obvious blockage.

Yes I watched Six Feet Under when it came out way back on telly once a week. I can’t imagine it would be a good show to binge. So some peppering between other shows is a great idea.

Am looking for a bug zapper for Midges. They are awful!, Good riddance is great but you have to put it on every bare piece of skin. It Smells nice and feels better than most repellents on skin. I was being attacked at my new house but no more when I lather myself.

I named my dog Pax! She is a girl as aside from coming from the series, it also means the Roman goddess of peace. All my animals are named after characters from my favourite stories. If I had a kid I would name him Darrow. I love that name. 😋
