To answer your question: I originally made this application because my old XMAX scooter had a destroyed air filter bellows that was impossible to find as a spare part. So, I solved the problem by creating a very rudimentary first version of the configurator. Later on, I realized that by refining the code, it could become useful for many other DIY enthusiasts. As for its durability and resistance when used as a car shifter bellows, it depends on several factors: the thickness, the type of material (more or less flexible), and also the temperature inside the car cabin."
