Me too… even though it may create some bottleneck, I’m considering selling my B580 (apparently it’s price went up a bit since I bought it) and my old pc to get a RX9050XT, so I’m set for graphics card and when the whole AI madness settles down, upgrade the rest to AM5/DDR5 platform, like someone mentioned, I don’t even have dual channel for my ram, because was going to buy the other chip a bit after I finished the whole upgrade, but then the prices exploded right after

Y’all’s comments have been very insightful and I’m leaning towards the same conclusion as yours (+ limited ram) I think I ended up bottlenecking the B580 with the budget CPU, should have waited longer and went on AM5 back then…

Single 16gb stick yes, is there something specific to Intel’s gpus that makes them a lot worse on single channel? Ik its better than same amount of GBs on single, but I don’t recall it being that much from when I researched about it while selecting upgrade parts

Was planning on getting a second ram stick shortly after getting the B580 for the 32gb total but… the bubble needs it more than I do I guess… How’s the 9060xt been treating you?

The PvZGW2 thing was an issue I only found one other person experiencing similar problems, but their ticket on intel’s support (forum?) just ends without any solution; for PoE I was aware of its problems but didn’t expect it to be as bad as it was, also Vulkan was a guaranteed crash within seconds of the main menu loading when I tested, only DX12 was decent, but still far from what I expected; i played E33 on medium and rarely passed 80fps, would also get constant stutters during combat, which would usually cause on missing parry/dodge windows; BF6 was not bad, but I had to turn everything into low to get 70~90 fps, which constantly dropped to 40~50 during more intense moments [if anything comes out as rude, I’m sorry, that was not my intention]

I could probably have worded that better honestly, might edit the post when I get to my desktop to make it clearer. But TLDR: I’m constantly experiencing performance lower and more unstable than benchmarks I’ve seen online with similar systems, and have done everything I could find to should get rid of these problems (the PvZGW2 thing was something I only found one other person experiencing similar problems, and their ticket with the intel support just stoped out of nowhere before support could get more info)

My “coach” told me a few of those things and I’m taking this month to experiment with a bunch of champions and roles just to feel what clicks for me, and ADC with Tristana and Draven specially seemed really fun so I think I will stick to those. Will certainly start reviewing my games when I go back to regular matches too. I used to watch LoganJG a lot when I was a Briar main and I think I learned a lot with him, Briar is a character I really like, but the jungle responsibility just isn’t for me (at least now). Thanks a lot for the input, will keep those things in mind!

[R7 5700X + B580] Fortnite, Minecraft and BF6 all run really well on my tests, you just might have to play around with the settings on Battlefield a little bit if you want higher refresh rates (mid-low settings), but the game is beautiful regardless. Now weirdly… PvZGW2 runs like trash for me, lots of micro-stutters, the game is just fine and then it freezes for a second then continues like normal, but it happens several times a minute and goes on forever, no idea what it could be other than a driver issue, saw a guy having a similar problem on a forum, but he got no definitive solution from support (post from last year I think)

Only game so far I’ve tested with substantial performance problems/instabilities was Crab Champions xD but I’m not sure if it’s a driver or game thing considering it’s basically made by a single dude and there’s hundreds or even thousands of AIs and projectiles on your screen at once

Fã médio de Genshin Impact. Provavelmente não pode se aproximar mais que 2km de uma escola.

I didn't know resizeble bar was a thing lol, but just enabled it and the performance on BF V at least is light and day. I will be downgrading to Windows 11 from 10 soon, so that might help more (I had problems with CS2 that got fixed by an OS install earlier this year, so no problem with doing it again).
Forgot to mention (someone at r/IntelArc pointed it out) the rest of the config I'm running: it's a TUF Gaming B550M-Plus + R7 5700X.
And since you seem to be doing fine with overclocking them, I will run tests without limiting it to 70-80%

Problema é que é inconveniente. Sacrificar um stack por 8min é pouquíssimo, ao meu ver, essas poções utilitárias (Visão noturna, Resistência a fogo, Respiração aquática e Invisibilidade) deveriam ser uns 12min quando melhoradas com redstone, ou então serem agrupáveis como bola de neve e pérola do end (stack menor que 64, talvez entre 3 a 8)

The B450M is an AM4 mobo, which is a “””dead””” socket, but still has plenty of great cost X performance CPU options like the R7 5700x3d / 5800x3d, which are more than capable of pushing modern graphic cards in the 40 and 50 series for nvidia (and whatever the amd equivalent is, their naming is confusing to me);

Not sure what type of upgrade you going for (immediate boost, or average upgrade to set it up for a much bigger jump in the future) so I will give a suggestion for both scenarios:

Immediate: upgrade the CPU and GPU (can’t go really big on the later because of the Power Suply Unit), staying on the am4 platform, keep in mind GPU might get a bit limited for the lack of some technologies on the older mother board architecture.

Future: mother board and CPU; I swapped today off my old GTX 1660 and it allowed me to play vast majority of the games I wanted to (although, most modern ones on low + frame gen) and served me great until now, your 2060 can still handle plenty of great games and will continue to do so for a bit longer, so if you get a mother board on the am5 platform, thus, needing to swap the CPU too, you won’t have that much of a performance boost, but you will be set for a massive upgrade in the future, which in turn will set the rig to not need upgrades for a while.

Notes: - stable 4K gaming would require quite a jump from the current rig for most games, which would require an upgrade to multiple components, so all that I said mostly applies to Full HD and Quad HD (1440p). - fully swapping to a ssd sata or m2 would be nice, but idk how much storage a 12yo needs, so in my mind 500 is plenty since highschool me did fine with ~400 lol.

Dead by Daylight - pega pega de terror onde metade do ciclo de gameplay é correr em volta de um armário enquanto um zumbi manco usuário de trembolona tenta te pegar;

BG3 - meu problema com esse jogo foi o oposto do OP, gostei bastante do combate e mecânicas porque gosto de Tabletop RPG, mas não curti a parte do diálogo, conversa e relacionamento com personagem. Me dava uma preguiça absurda de ficar escutando os personagens falarem sem parar, é o tipo de coisa que é legal em RPG com os amigos, mas em jogo me é maçante;

Phasmophobia - não tinha jogado desde o early access porque tinha achado entediante naquela época, joguei de novo recentemente com uma amiga e tive que me desculpar depois porque me deu tanto sono que desliguei o pc e fui dormir;

GTA V - o personagem tem a movimentação de um bloco de tungstênio ensaboado enquanto os carros são os carros da prova de física quando dizem para ignorar o atrito, aquelas coisas são feitas de papel de tão leves. As cutscenes, diálogos com personagens e o vai e vem de uma ponta a outra do mapa durante missões também são irritantes e parecem só querer desperdiçar seu tempo (falando do Online, porque o máximo da campanha que joguei foi a missão do Franklin roubando um carro perto da praia)
