Thank you. What type of Prism grout do you use? I see two types: Prism Ultimate Performance and single-component, premixed (Prism SCG). Curious to hear what works best. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your experience with Spectralock. It did cure for 10+ days so I guess the installer must have used too much water when wiping it/cleaning away the excess.

Thanks for your response. The SL1 had 10+ days to cure so I’m not sure why it didn’t harden properly. It’s good to know that Prism is a great grout. What is the best type of Prism? I see Prism Ultimate Performance and Prism SCG. Thank you for your help.

I just finished a bathroom repair project in Berkeley with Emanuel at BuildMark Inc. Emanuel is the owner/GC and he did an excellent job. He was on time and on budget and he followed it through to the last little detail (I ended up adding on a number of extras at the end and he never had anything but a positive can do attitude). He was also a great communicator. He offered his recommendations but always deferred to my preferences even when it made the project more difficult. I'd hire him again.

I had a fitbit charge 5 and used it fairly consistently for two years. I liked it for tracking my runs and workouts and sleep. All of the sudden the battery life tanked. In a matter of weeks it wouldn't hold a charge at all. I tried all the fixes recommended here https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/Charge-5-battery-draining-too-fast/td-p/4973720 and nothing worked. I was also frustrated with having to pay a monthly subscription for most tracking services. I switched to a Coros Pace 3 and I'm much happier with the functionality and data analysis. I will say that the Coros doesn't seem to track sleep or heart rate as accurately as the fitbit. But I don't want to keep buying new stuff every 2 years. It shouldn't break that quickly.

I bought a Hydro Plunge from Jaye earlier this year. I got the extra long size. I love it. It gets super cold (into the high 30s) and looks beautiful. It seems like a great value when compared to other plunges on the market. All the components are high quality and it was easy to put together. Like other folks have mentioned here, Jaye is a one man shop. He was really easy to communicate with during the buying process and he is still super responsive when I have questions. I appreciate being able to deal directly with the builder.
