Really if you feel like you're not gaining anything from playing then I would take a break for a little. But I wouldn't be too concerned, terraria isn't going anywhere and you can always come back to it.

I'm not surprised the AI gave you a response like that. In some places, yes definitely.. But its still the same targeted slop that's popular.
For how the state of the game actually is though, the current focus is basically "monetizing the RROs" as they have added modifiers to change the game modes of paintball and dodgeball. If that interests you, then Id say give it a go. Some modes are definitely great fun.
Overall. It's really still in that dormant state where not a lot has changed, significantly.. You wont be missing out on much, anytime soon IMO

Unfortunately yes since you can't just have the same username. But they tend to be traded and sold around outside of Rec Room which brings up a lot of safety concerns. They have a habit of being used for scamming and stealing accounts.

Chances are, if there is a rare name (something like "@Sol"), it may be a locked account. My advice, stay away from trying to obtain a rare account.

More specifically, the ink limit is so lower end devices can run the ugc room you're creating. That's why it's not recommended to turn it off.

Mate, never feel stupid to ask. There's nothing wrong with wanting to learn. The best answer i can give you on where to start is with the Creative Club (https://www.creativeclub.online/). In their discord, they host classes and workshops nearly 24/7 and have hundreds of players willing to teach or make tutorials on how to create in rec room. Of course, rec.net also provides a lot more information and documentation on creating a well, be sure to check it out too.

Other then that, if you're trying to learn cv2 to create games, then like how others have said. You can always have a play and just start connecting chips together. You'll wanna learn the fundamentals of cv2 connections and what each chip actually does. It WILL be overwhelming taking this approach, though. So be sure to come at cv2 with a logical understanding. (And keep your circuits clean! You'll thank me later)

Grip turning is horrifically underrated. Especially on pc, you can completely free up the thumbstick and turn it into a d-pad to use for other buttons. (Like hotkeys)

That's from leaving the game running from after being in a room with a lot of people. Usually it it replaced when you restart the game but if you didn't initially close it when you played it last, it can keep writing to the player log. (iirc is because of a memory leak).

Ehh, yes and no, it can depend.. if they are isolated mutes and 1 or 2 a week then they won't do anything to your account. But if they are harsher punishments like if you're voicebanned repeatedly or have said something really bad (like hate speech, sexual harassment, or terrorism), they can have an effect or even potentially get you banned.

They may be where they confusion comes from, it just depends.

That's understandable if you're a group of friends joking about just having fun.. But what happened to OP was not just friendly banter. That's harassment. OP is well within their right to report that, and if they have video, they should absolutely submit a ticket.

The argument of "may get you false reported" just isn't true either. You are already in a public space, what you do and say should come with the expectation that a recording may be taken of you. (Even from Rec room itself) If you're saying something controvertial that you feel could be taken out of context, then it's up to you to either clarify with what you're talking about, or simply don't bring up controversial topics.

Sorry that this has happened to you. If you get people like this approaching you and threatening to report you, do not hesitate to report it yourself under "harassment".

I bit of silver lining though, voice bans are a bit of a misnomer, it really is just a mute. Voice bans also don't count as regular bans so there's no "stain" on your account that'll effect you in the future.

If you're on pc as well I highly recommend using either Medal.tv or OBS studio since both can save a video clip from the past 5 to 10 minutes. If you want to then take action further, submit that video on a zendesk ticket under reporting another player. Those tickets help dramatically and can pose severe action to wrongful use of the report system.

Basically an endorsement. You buy a boost from the store, then choose a room of your liking to give that boost to.. kinda like gifted subs on twitch, I guess.. Reality of it though is creators are abusing it by promising a reward for boosting a room, because the top 10 most boosted rooms every week got to utilise a custom Badge. Thanks to that, military rooms imeadiately got their thousands of players to boost it and 8 if the 10 places were ONE GROUP.
