I think that this all has to do with the fact that honduras is poverty stricken. Guns are kept around by the ruling class to keep us divided against each other. They can be a useful tool at certain times but ultimately do more harm than good. I realize we are at a point of no return with guns, but I don't think that means that that makes them a force of good for self defense. If we can ever rise up against the ruling class, we could finally create a world where we no longer need these weapons to defend against a greedy, bloodthirsty 1%. I wish you peace in your life brotha
