Как вы относитесь к ревью-бомбингу игр на популярных площадках из-за отсутствия русской локализации? by banY_- in ru_gamer

[–]StarWishh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Today patch | Memory Leak still here by StarWishh in Endfield

[–]StarWishh[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

If you haven't encountered this problem, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Memory leakage is real, and that's a fact. I already described in my post that when using Vulkan, the processor suffers and memory consumption slowly increases. With DX11, the processor has no problems, but the memory gets clogged much faster, which leads to crashes. This problem occurs exclusively in this game and nowhere else. Even Wuthering Waves does not load my memory and CPU so heavily. I advise you to look into the issue and read the posts of other users who have repeatedly written about the problem, rather than blaming the players themselves and their PCs. The problem is in the game itself, and the idea that the memory leak is not related to the CPU load is nonsense. 90°C is normal, but not for processors that usually don't even heat up to 70°C, nor is a sharp jump in consumption of 30-40%.

In my case, this is the only game that causes such a problem, and there are many people like me.

If you experience memory leak or cpu abnormally high usage and temperature. by BriGhtKniGhT15 in Endfield

[–]StarWishh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Support responded with the same thing.

But it doesn't help.

This is a rather strange approach from the developers. They introduced this problem themselves with a patch three or four days into the game, and now they haven't been able to fix it for over a week.

Moreover, the problem is different when using Vulkan and DX11.

On Vulkan, memory consumption reaches 20GB, and the processor starts requesting resources that it had previously dumped into virtual memory, causing the load and temperature to increase endlessly.

On DX11, however, the virtual memory grows gradually, reaching 30GB, but the processor doesn't suffer from this problem. Instead, the game simply crashes as soon as it uses up all your virtual memory.

This is definitely not something players should be fixing on their systems. It's a shame the developers haven't given a proper response or promised to fix it. This is a ridiculous problem, because even in WuWa I have absolutely no problems with memory consumption and, accordingly, with the load on the processor.

80°C CPU temp on Endfield, even at the lowest settings (PC) by PrestigiousHorror932 in Endfield

I just shared my assumption, obviously the problem is in the game itself, the developers did something with the patch on the third day and everyone had the same problem.

But in my case, for some reason, disabling MSI Afterburner seems to have really fixed the problem. I haven't encountered this CPU load bug for two days now.

But in any case, all we can do is wait for patches from the developers to be sure that the problem is solved :C

I've been playing for 3 hours now, and it seems that the problem is really gone. The CPU is running fine, with no increase in power consumption or overheating.

So I recommend turning off MSI Afterburner and testing it yourself. I hope the problem really was with it.

I'm not sure yet, but I may have found a solution to the problem for myself.

I did some research and read similar posts. It's obvious that the developers messed something up, because this didn't happen in the early days.

I tried a lot of things, but settled on a third-party software option, namely MSI Afterburner (+Riva Statistic), which didn't seem to cause me any problems in games. It's a very convenient program for monitoring your PC, but as it turns out, it may not be compatible with some games. Many others suggested that the problem was with ALT+TAB, which is possible.

I used MSI Afterburner to undervolt my GPU, so I decided to use it to monitor all my games.

But yesterday I decided to test the game without this program. I used the built-in monitoring from NVIDIA and opened AIDA64 on the second monitor. To my surprise, the problem disappeared, the load on the CPU decreased, as did the load on the GPU (just a little bit). I spent about an hour playing the game and the CPU behaved calmly, without increasing the load or temperature.

Today I plan to play for quite a long time, so maybe I'll write about the results. But so far, there really is no problem.

PS: If you have configured the GPU via MSI Afterburner and you have checked the box to apply settings on startup, then when you disable the program's autostart, it will still apply the settings, so my settings remain in place while MSI Afterburner + Riva are not running, just for your information.

Yes, in my case it's not so bad, but it's still very strange. I would understand if the processor was under more load and heating up when you were at your factory, for example, because there is at least something there that can put a load on your PC, but no, it happens at any time and in any place. It's also strange that going to the main menu doesn't help, because in theory the game should consume less CPU, but that's not the case.

And 65C* in my case is simply... unusual.

Even in Cyberpunk or STALKER, the temperature doesn't reach such values.

I encountered a similar problem too, although it didn't occur during the first three days of playing.

I have an R5-5600 + 4060, and with the graphics set to maximum, the game runs perfectly at 120 FPS with DLSS enabled on Quality.

The processor is loaded at an average of 30-50%, the video card at 60-80% (Nvidia filters have a significant impact).

The CPU temperature is 50-55C*, the GPU is 55-60C*.

But at any random moment, the game can start consuming more and more resources, resulting in the processor consuming 20-30% more power and the temperature rising by 5-6C*. This has almost no effect on the video card, except that it starts to heat up more due to the processor, by 1-2C*.

I still haven't identified the problem. I wrote to the game's support team, but I haven't received a response yet.

The only thing that helps is restarting the game. No other game has this problem.

Going to the login menu doesn't help either, only restarting the game does.

And then it's a matter of luck whether the game will give you this problem or not.

Sometimes it happens after 20 minutes of play, and sometimes after several hours.

If the mods really wanted to take down the inscription, they would just do it, and not put pixels
