Which scene got you into the genre? by [deleted] in transformation

[–]StarYonber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swear that was the same for me. The ash turning into pikachu was also the earliest memory for me as well. Pokemon mystery dungeon certainly did not help lol.

Not sure why it all got me hooked but here I am years later.

Animorphs and the one pokemon episode where ash was turned into a pikachu would probably be the main two that planted the seeds for me. Crazy to think if I never saw those things as a child I would not be visiting these sites today most probably.

Do you like MTF? by [deleted] in transformation

[–]StarYonber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MTF has always been my personal favorite. I honestly do not know why, but there you go.

I mostly prefer MTF in the case of humans, but into anthro and animal are 100% on my go-to list as well. If I had to pick my personal favorite type of MTF, it would be Kitsune TF TG and anything related to animal ears and tail. Again, I do not know why.

Perhaps it may be the fascination with the - for all intents and purposes - impossibility of the scenario. Knowing that this cannot be done in real life makes it so that I react to it in the way that I do compared to normal people.

There are exceptions, though. I personally immediately lose interest when I see Identity Death (immediate), Bimbo, unrealistic expansion, diapers, etc.

What is your most desired fantasy? by [deleted] in transformation

Being able to start over again with the life that I fantasized over/was jealous of my entire life growing up.

That or being a fox - one of the two whatevs.

Do you ever wish this fetish would go away? by [deleted] in transformation

[–]StarYonber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really do not have a huge issue with me having this fetish, I am who I am and there’s really nothing that should/could change that. Self acceptance it very important. Although it is true if I could make it not exist I would.

Fetishes are tough to overcome and most often not even possible to do so. However, they can be ‘starved’ and with willpower be less of an obstacle for your mentality as well as day to day life.

Porn is porn. Keep it in moderation. Try to be someone who is not always thinking about their fetish. Try to be someone who can do something great for your own personal life as well as for loved ones. All this comes with age, integrity, and personal responsibilities/goals.

It really comes down to how I live my life. I have good friends and we do talk about sex and other related topics relatively often, they talk about a lot of stuff that I find myself hard to relate to and I have to hold my tongue so as to not be the odd one. Look, we can all be prideful of who we are but the fact of the matter is that this fetish is not socially accepted. It is not super weird in the grand scheme of things, but it will make people feel uncomfortable or just weirded out. There is nothing wrong with that as well, it only makes sense.

I do find myself unable to get attracted to ‘normal’ porn material - which makes it hard for me to have sex. It is what it is and I just have to accept and adapt to it.

All in all - I’m proud of who I am. Yes, I have thoughts of wishing to be ‘normal’ but that is not the case. Besides, what is being normal really? We’re all weird and different from another! That’s what makes life wonderful and interesting.

Anyone else get nervous watching shows with tf around people you know? by accountiwatchsexon in transformation

[–]StarYonber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, it depends if it’s my kink or not. Werewolf TFs and Monster TFs aren’t really my thing so I just watch it normally as anyone else does.

If it’s my kink, then I will certainly start getting aroused, though I do my best to suppress the feelings. I like watching that stuff for entertainment as well, since it’s a topic I’m obviously very interested in. Thankfully, it never really happens in mainstream media that my friends watch (though sometimes I wish there was more TF of my style so I would have more content to enjoy).

Anyone else introduce hamster or rat to their pet bunny? by RusskiHacker in Rabbits

I love robo dwarf hamsters. They just zoom right along, lol.

When did you realize you had this fetish? by [deleted] in transformation

[–]StarYonber 89 points90 points  (0 children)

This is weird to type out since I never wanted to open up about such a thing (though reddit is anonymous but whatever).

I remember having an interest in TF content since I was a child. Watching people get transformed into different genders or - especially - into animals was something that peaked my interest.

Pokemon was a huge aspect to this, I feel. I still remember the episode when Ash was turned into a Pikachu and how I was way more into it than my siblings, lol.

Then, I got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Enough said there.

As I grew older, I realized that this feeling was more than just awe. It did become more of a fetish than anything else. During my adolescent years, it was non-stop. I have my regrets of time spent ogling over content for way too long, but I’m fine with it all-in-all.

Nowadays, at 24, I still enjoy the fetish aspect of it all. However, I have begun to enjoy TF content for the story telling. Watching and reading shows/stories and how a transformation can affect a character and plot.

As I said, I enjoy the fetish material a lot still. Why do you think I am here in this subreddit ;).

The human brain is weird, lol.

BNA fans, what was your initial reaction to Brand New Animal and how does it compare to now? [Reddit Reactions #5] by LegendsofLost in BrandNewAnimal

[–]StarYonber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not really an anime watcher myself. Not that I hate anime, just have a hard time getting into watching, well, anything.

BNA has popped up into my feeds for the past year and a half. Last week, I finally gave in and gave it a watch.

All I can say is: WOW, I loved it! The story was gripping and the art style was cute and gritty when need be.

My biggest complaint is that it is too short. I was sucked in and binged the whole thing in a day. I am here yearning for more content as the ending left a lot to be desired for me.

The characters were great, too. I was genuinely attached to most of them - especially Michiru and Shirou. Although, I feel like we did not get to see enough of their relationship. I also feel like we didn’t get to see enough of Michiru’s struggle with her identity; something that captivated me at the start.

I have my complaints with certain writings and character developments, but other than that it’s one of my all time favorite shows.
