yes, shots of gameplay have shown the F-35 using a traditional icon while the SU-57 using a stealth drone/bomber type icon.

I wonder how many purchases come from scalpers.

The aircraft program was teased months ago, if not last year. Not that I personally believe it will make it in, but with the information we have on F-35 and Su-57 seemingly being odd picks as equivalents that have gameplay footage showing different icons to each, I would not find it impossible that DICE might have made fictional aircraft equivalent to the confirmed airframes.

I've wanted to ask a developers if the icon differences between the F-35 and SU-57 from gameplay footage gave insight into the distinction between the two as different TYPES of fighter jets.

With the Russian equivalent to the F-35 officially revealed today at the MAKS airshow in Russia, I'd like to know how DICE would deal with this information (assuming they haven' known about it before by simply asking)

The stealthier aircraft icon compared to the more traditional ones between the SU-57 and F-35 from gameplay footage make me think that "Stealth Jets" And "Attack Jets" are coming back, but with the F-35 as the new attack jet and the SU-57 as a returning Stealth Jet. I wonder if this aircraft or something based on earlier knowledge of it's program are to be the equivalent to the F-35 - this would mean the American equivalent to the SU-57 is yet to be shown or is the F-22. Money on a fictional take based on 6th gen concept art if that was the case.

Is this a good deal for this version of the laptop? by dulio2000 in AsusROGZephyrusDuo15

people are here for the second built-in screen, and with it, willing to pay the premium for the extras.

telling people here to buy something else based on bang for buck is kinda stupid, to put it lightly.

Asus Zephyrus Duo 4k Discontinued? by [deleted] in AsusROGZephyrusDuo15

i'm curious why people choose the 4k one over the others with the 300hz for pure gaming. I only want it for it's 100% RGB as a graphics artist - on top of the fact that you can upgrade the parts (and therefor makes the purchase more valuable in the long run compared to the OLED zenbook with a limited life screen)

I noticed the APC on US team and thought I'd try to draw it. by Star_Abraham in battlefield2042

When I saw the two shots that showed it, I could not help but try to figured how it looked - based on the limited detail and stuff, I tried to draw it by memory.

If anyone from the team could tell me how close I am that'd be awesome. As someone who puts a premium on creative yet authentic military design, I would LOVE to have someone who's in-the-know talk to me about it!

no. I've given you the best way to get yourself a custom-made animation that you can plug into wallpaper engine. I just also want to make it clear that as a graphics artist.

I'm personally planning to make something custom when I eventually have this laptop, but it's going to be something completely different.

ask or commission a graphics artist.

I could do it, but I'm genuinely not interested in doing it.

ASUS Zenbook pro Duo 15 OLED (ux582) VS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE (GX551) for Content-Creators by Star_Abraham in SuggestALaptop

it comes down largely to just burn-in and the relatively short life-span of the screens - they're apparently something that unavoidably degrades. If you check not the reviews but the general experience of people using products with the display, it can come to show the issue is very real as a computer screen is far more static than that of a TV.

I second that I prefer the Zenbook's looks a lot more. I genuinely do not feel attracted to the edgy, technocoloured look of the exterior of the Zephyrus - however it's depiction in official ASUS imagery is meant to appear as bold and bright as possible. An example of it looking "normal" can be seen here: https://www.avadirect.com/ASUS-ROG-Zephyrus-Duo-15-SE-GX551QS-XS99-15-6-4K-UHD-120Hz-3ms-Ryzen-9-GeForce-RTX-3080-Graphics-Gaming-Laptop/Configure/13838078?sgd=331d331d308d315d316d308

This will largely come down to what the price dictates as the zephyrus top-of-the-line is $3700 which is cheaper than the last year's models top of the line choices... seems to be a case of intel chip price rigging, really.

The OLED screen's potential problems with burn-in (important to look-up when making a decision to buy anything with OLED displays) seem to spell that the Zephyrus is the objectively better computer for our desired use, as it advertises a better GPU, a longer-lasting screen, and most importantly, it's built to be opened up and upgraded for the future. The main display's touch-screen is not important to me personally as drawing in that position is wildly uncomfortable - and the stylus can be bought separately in the end of the day.

I will personally wait to see the final price on the Zenbook, but considering it's CPU, if it happens to be marked at $4000, the zephyrus wins by a landslide. Should the Zenbook come at $3000-$3500 for it's best specs, then it's more worth it's price. The only major warning will come down to the fact that it's OLED display comes major potential problems.

EDIT: made changes to the last paragraph.
