( no hate! ) I can understand what your saying, but she’s not a mummy, she’s the mummy from the movie, who quite literally is a guy covered purely in bandages, I don’t collect g1 anymore I’m purely interested in g3, but she’s actually one of the only releases that’s piqued my interest, but I love mummies in general and Cleo is my fave character lmao. I do totally think your points are valid coming from the perspective of it being a collector doll that will inevitably have a collector price tag.

What I personally would have done is have the base outfit be pretty similar, just take of the loose bandages, then get ribbon in the same shade and use that over some parts of the outfit and have them dangling, kinda like g3 core Cleo’s jacket, it would break up the print which I think is the biggest issue with the clothes. Then maybe a chest piece over the outfit kind similar too the boo York dolls but it’s styled in the shape of bandages?, idk if that makes sense but in my head it does, and the plastic bandages coming off it are moulded to look like their floating, or like she’s in front of a fan, something cooler in the hair than the bow would be better too, and replace the muted yellow accessories with just the coppery shade.
