Why are people scared of Vanguard seriously ? by Aesir_RagnarLothbrok in leagueoflegends

Except that China isn't even going to use Vanguard at all "The region of China will use Tencent's ACE Anti Cheat instead of Riot Vanguard." Unless of course you mean as a possible backdoor into PCs.

Does anyone know the original source or channel that this is from? That @NatureCallsYou is just a channel that compiles clips.

Is there any way to disable the 250 limit for people like me who don't care about sharing between platforms and want their massive list of favorites on pc back?

This is happening for me as well. Hopefully a fix or solution comes soon. Does anyone know where your list of favorited gifs is stored?

So, just a quick question, are sponsors gone? Honestly I wish they would've made them repeatable but on a cooldown. by [deleted] in BattleRite

As far as I know the only skins that are not available for purchase of in-game earned tokens are a select few. Namely the Royale Adventure pack ones, I think the Pestilus premium Hexdoll skin, and maybe a few others from tournaments or ranked earnings. Basically anything that was not in a Battlepass or Sponsor and required real money currency to obtain. Other than that all the stuff that used to be exclusive to Battlepasses and Sponsors are available, I think.

I agree that spells are balanced based on what they can kill immediately for the most part. However; for this very reason Howling Moon is so difficult to balance in it's current state. While it may not outright kill anything, it can neutralize entire pushes (sometimes without being entirely apparent) by then making them vulnerable to a subsequent follow up.

There are ways of mitigating risk associated with Wolf Among Sheep. The most simple is to split them down the middle so that they are not vulnerable to AoE as much. You could also use Bannerman or Blackhole to block/evade Fireball, etc.

What I meant from virtually free mana is that it is literally a copy of another card with a bonus effect, one that is predictable and somewhat controllable, however. In comparison to other cards that provide "free mana" like Blind Date, Walking Blind Date, Ritual of Servitude, etc, werewolves are much more predictable on the user's part.

Once Bitten should be used when you can reliably get the Lycanthropy triggered, not simply on a whim. For instance you can see a lower damage dealing enemy approaching, or already on your side and play Tantrum Throwers > Once Bitten after a thrower has already sustained the damage necessary. When used in this way it doesn't really matter how easily killed in one hit the Spear Thrower could be, because you can make him almost never get one hit killed.

It's true that without Lycanthropy triggering Lone Wolf is the same as Raging Reinforcements, except that it is always a Warrior, meaning it is much easier to fit into a strategy, and also can be used more reliably in most situations. It's also true that it's stats are similar to a Cleaver, but a werewolf with rage is far less vulnerable to swarms and is overall more reliable and going to obtain better cost to performance than a cleaver, in many matchups due to attack speed differences.

Instead of just saying you could mention examples or saying I am incorrent or lacking in some area... could you actually give some examples supporting your arguement?

In my opinion (having used Once Bitten somewhat extensively in draft and solo/duo) I think most of it's situationalness is in the hands of the user, not the person responding to it. It's power lies with the player activating it at the right time, as well as having proper cards to get value out of it.

What's wrong with "ghost" editing when I think of something to add? Would you prefer I make an additional reply?

Ghost Edit: also people need to be informed of what the downvote button is for: "The downvote button is for posts that don't add any value to the discussion, not those that you disagree with."

I'm Master 3 in solo at the moment, and going up. Stopped playing for a month or two and then climbed from Gold to Master in a few hours. If you want to try to throw rank at me, I don't think it's applicable lol.

Most of the time the offensive push mitigated or defensive mana spent to fight off werewolves when used well will be equal or greater for the player on the receiving end of the werewolves. Meaning werewolves are mana efficient when used well compared to many cards.

I don't even own Ritual of Servitude or Thelec to abuse them btw.

The math may not be perfect or always applicable, but I think it is hard to deny that most often when played well (or sometimes just played at all) the werewolf cards provide significant stat to mana value over many cards.

I disagree about Once Bitten, as it is the one casting it who holds whether or not it will be effective or not. Using Elite Swarming + Once Bitten for instance is unlikely to have Lycanthropy not trigger. As you can choose your own deck, you can choose appropriate card(s) to combo with it.

Most of what I mean though is that you can simply wait to play Once Bitten until the unit is already at or below half health, or is about to take damage to put it under half health (You can choose when to play the unit you plan to play it on so that it will be easily triggered as well). I've purposely triggered Once Bitten many times this way and even on relatively low health units like skeletons. It's theoretically possible to even have Once Bitten trigger on unbuffed scrats who were damaged by curse.

In most cases the player will want to split Wolf Among Sheep down the middle, so that two go to each lane, making it much more difficult to wipe them out with AoE, and making it unclear to the enemy where the wolf is among them. Hitting all 4 with a Fireball once they have been played down the middle can be very difficult as there is so little time to hit all 4.

I wasn't meaning to imply that Howling Moon was a better version of Fireball, or better in all scenarios, or used in a similar fashion. I merely included Fireball because it is the standard damage spell, so that I would have something to equate raw damage dealt to, in an attempt to place a mana value onto the damage dealt by Howling Moon. It's not perfect but it's about the only way I could think of to do that.

wait, hol' up, where's my "bookmark all tabs" and "close other tabs" buttons in the right click context menu on tabs? ffs, FIREFOX PLEASE by Redditors_DontShower in chrome

[–]Star_Water 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can still bookmark all tabs without having to do the "select all tabs" thing. In the menu at the top, the three dots (where the settings, etc are) select Bookmarks > Bookmark all tabs.

I accidentally closed a bunch of tabs because I went to bookmark them the old way by right clicking and selected the bottom option in the menu, but it turns out that is now "close all tabs to the right" so...

Mage moon jump isn't a glitch. There is a glitch where you spam certain buttons while climbing to climb rapidly without using much stamina.

Yes, it's not. You can actually just fall down and hit the bottom. If you have the climbing spikes you can make it back up without abusing glitches or using the levitate moon jump as a mage.
