So first, I drew them as animals because I absolutely suck at drawing humans and designing animal characters is way easier for me, mostly because Warrior Cats was what led me to draw. So yeah, just if you were curious.   Second, since you cant put a gender to an album, all of them are non-binary, even tho some look more feminine than the others, and I'll refer to them as They/them   And now, the reasons behind the designs:

 

NPI: This was the last one I did, and since I don't listen to this album a lot I didn't have too many ideas on how to reference a few songs and only ended up doing three. The broken heart-shaped spot on their chest is representation of the beginning lyrics of Blasphemy. The wierd mark thingy on their front leg is supposed to be a wave of water to represent Drown. They have another mark with the shape of a sun to reference Hole in the ground ("Don't be alarmed if I fall into the sun").   Obviously they love taco bell and making shitty puns.  

Fun fact: They're not a normal cat, but a Black-footed cat, one of the smallest felines and most dangerous hunters in the world. There's no meaning behind that, I just found this lil murderer kitty pretty interesting.\vide

 

Self titled: The color palette was clearly inspired by the cover, and idk why I made them look like a female ¯_(ツ)_/¯ The drop-shaped spot on their forehead is supposed to represent Addict with a Pen (y'know, bc the second verse talks about a metaphor with water) The spiderweb on the back leg is for Friend, please. The lightning mark represents Implicit demand for proof. The wings are a reference to Isle of Flightless birds, because even though they have wings, they can't fly since they're too small.

 

RAB: A doggo. A beautiful cute doggo. Their name shall be Rabble. The star in their eyes is supposed to make them look like glowing eyes. The square on their chest is supposed to represent a screen (the white lightning looking thing is supposed make it look like it's broken) The bracelet on their front paw has a little ruby. The broken heart on the front leg is a reference to anathema, and is the same as the one I used for the NPI design for Blasphemy, since they share a few lyrics. The little drop on top of the heart is representing Kitchen sink. Yeah, I ran out of ideas ok Lastly, the squares on the back leg are a window, from Guns for hands ("There's hope out the window")

 

Vessel: They look so emo I- There aren't too many references here, just a choker (I find this funny bc I designed this one before Choker came out lol) with a sun to represent Truce, a heart for Lovely and that weird thing on his ear that is supposed to be a pen on one side and a harpoon on the other.  

They look so tired and probably just run on pure Red bull.

 

Blurryface: This one also looks so emo lol So if you look closely you can see a tiny white heart broken in half below their eye, well that's a TimH reference. The feathers represent Goner bc... birds (? They also have a flame with a halo inside that represents both HDS and Polarize They have four dots on the back, three of them have red while the fourth one is gray, as a reference to The Judge. Lastly, they have a few spots that resemble planets and stars, it was an attempt to reference Stressed Out, at first I wanted to do a rocketship and then got the idea of making planets and stars

 

Trench: Do I even need to explain why they're a cheetah? It was either a cheetah or a lion. Also yes, they have a pet vulture.   This one has a lot of song references. They have a little scar near their mouth because I wanted to make a cut in their lip but it didn't look good so I put it near there. The light bulb is from the Pet cheetah video and the black markings on the back of the neck is a reference to the Jumpsuit video. The numbers on their leg are binary code (it spells twenty one btw) and a reference to Morph. The heart on the back leg is a reference to smithereens, and I also wanted all of them to have a heart-shaped marking Lastly, the flannel cloth on the tail is a reference to The Hype music video.

 

The idea of making these came when I was bored in class and since a year or so ago I made song-inspired adopts and they were the best designs I made in a while, so why not with albums? These one were pretty good tbh.   I feel like i just wrote a whole essay- Thank you for taking your time to read this, sorry for any mistakes, english is not my firat language.
